I gave up on complaining after the site redesign criticism was mostly ignored, but if you're asking, every video takes about 10 seconds before the play button works for me these days.
*edit* I sound super bitter.. and a bit rude. sorry, I am a bit upset but understand everyone is doing their best.
@varadshir: Perhaps you joke but at about 17 minutes in that's exactly what i thought and then decided I'm done watching i'd rather be surprised learning this stuff when i play myself. This is weird no doubt but so refreshing for a big game to stray from the traditional AAA formula. To be expected from kojima maybe but i'm happy :)
@saberrider: Hey man, I feel you, I'm mostly subscribed for east coast content these days. Even that i let lapse every once and a while then build up some good backlog for when i re-subscribe.
Avorion is on sale for like $10 on steam right now (or humble store full price) and seems awesome. has very positive reviews, ship building and even a few active multiplayer server. I was on a server with 21 out of 100 people around midnight on a monday.
Aside from Avorion, my favorite space trucking game in the last 10 years or so has been Evochron Legacy, released in 2016 and sequel to Evochron Mercenary which got some amazing Dave, Drew and Vinny content many years ago. Also has both single player and multiplayer with a similar amount of players online. DRM-free and made by one guy, and I think it's incredible.
Thanks! that looks really cool as well, for now I'm going to pour a few (many) hours into Avorion since i just got it but Evochron Legacy is on the wishlist now for sure. Appreciate the heads up.
