I've completed the game and now I can tell that I didn't like it as much as 3 and 4, 3 being my favorite. I appreciated the story and the characters but my main gripe with this game is its location: Tokyo. I prefer the small towns used in 3 and 4. It's always Tokyo. Every (Japanese) game occurs in Tokyo, it's boring in the end and I would have liked that Persona 5 stayed in the country like 3 and 4. Maybe the story wouldn't have worked anywhere else, I don't know.
Attack and defense on the same hand ? no, certainly not. Even Nioh has blocking with the left hand and attack with the right hand and there's a good reason for that, it's easier for your hands and your fingers, it's more ergonomic.
It was running like crap first time I launched Ducktales but I remember checking something in the Options menu just before. After that I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and started Ducktales directly without touching anything in the menu and it worked as expected, just like in the quicklook, so I guess there's a bug with the Options menu or something like that.
Come to Europe, we have almost every model still available (in France anyway), from 90 euros 2DS to 250 euros 3DS XL limited editions. So no problem for finding one over here.
Maybe you are playing only always connected games but it's not true for all games. On Xbox One I used it all the time I played FFXV or Dark Souls 3, on PS4 with Horizon or Gravity Daze 2 and had 0 problem with that functionality. Sure at first it didn't work well, especially on XBox but now it works fairly well.
When it's a game with a lot of dialog my policy is to always go with the original version (exceptions may apply). Specially for Japanese games if the original voices are not available I will tend to import. Resident Evil is an exception because usually the protagonists are supposed to be English speakers so I don't mind.
