gun play in hl1 and hl2 is vastly different. Vortigaunts, bullsquids and alien grunts not being enemies in hl2 anymore changed the flow of the game drastically.

From my understanding the release history of Bloodlines is interesting due to POLITICS in regard to "this has to be the first source engine game".

@jazz: I know people who are the other way around, don't understand/like 1. Enjoy the fuck out of the second installment.
