Lincoln Force (an unofficial Giant Bomb clan for Xbox One Destiny players) will be streaming a Destiny 2 raid-a-thon on Saturday 11/7 for the Giant Bomb team!
@therealturk You're right of course, but most of the time when people in the U.S. refer to an "employment contract" they are referring to a contract with a set term of employment, or a contract that says you can only be fired "for cause." Those contracts are rare because, as you point out, most employees in the U.S. are "at-will," meaning they can be fired at any time for (almost) any reason.
Abby has been one of my favorite crew members for a while now. I loved having someone basically the same age as me on staff, and her energy and fresh perspective always cheers me up. Best of luck, Abby.
Destiny: Beyond Light! It launches the same day, though unfortunately most of the next-gen optimizations won't be made available until December. Otherwise, I will keep playing what I am playing on my One atm (Yakuza and Forza Horizon 4).
While I agree it's not helpful to play armchair website manager, it's pretty understandable that people who care a lot about this site are worried it will go away and are thinking of ways it could keep going. Let's not be too harsh on people here.
I don't know about this article specifically, but Paul Tassi has been the shlooter beat reporter for Forbes for a few years now. He's pretty well known in the destiny community. So I think he probably has some idea what he's talking about, even if he had a narrative he wanted to go with.
From what I can tell from the people who talked about the game in the GB destiny discord server, it seems like people were generally pretty happy with the campaign content but there wasn't a whole lot to do after that except grind some stuff out. So yeah, if they don't start to flesh out the endgame, that's probably not a good sign.
This seems partially fixed but not completely fixed. The newest and oldest videos are in the right place, but a lot of stuff in the middle is jumbled up. Like, the videos on page 100 are from 2011 and the videos on page 200 are from 2018.
