If you just want to get your characters, set Arcade mode to one round and the difficulty to Easiest.

Now here is how you win every single god damn fight: Jump in + hk, then crouch + hk to do your leg sweep. Then as soon as you see the opposing character's feet hit the ground when trying to get back up, sweep again. Keep on sweeping. Sweep some more.

Congratulations, you've beaten Street Fighter IV.

There's a guide up for getting the normal and good endings.

And that guide has totally dissuaded me from putting any more time in the game. One wrong dialog option and I get the shitty ending? Nope. Fuck you, Japanese developers.

It's four cars for eight bucks. That's two bucks a car. That's the same price as a Rock Band track, and less than a multiplayer map. It's in an entirely appropriate price territory, is from a company who's been continually supporting the game for zero dollars for an entire year, and a game whose MSRP has dropped by two thirds in that time as well, instead of sticking onto the $60 price point until the Second Coming.

SHUT UP, INTERNET. YOU ARE WHY WE CANNOT HAVE GOOD THINGS.

EA's plan makes total sense now, since I've been wondering why they'd dish out so many free updates to people up until this point.

Get them used to it - get them liking Criterion and guilt them into these overpriced purchases.

With the party pack ridiculously overpriced and these cars too (both should be no more than $5 downloads) I can only imagine what the island is going to cost us. $20?

"

It's a whole new island with all new events, challenges, gametypes, road rules, showtime records, and possibly new game modes. I don't see how that wouldn't be worth 20 bucks. Not everything on XBLM needs to be $5 or $10 to be worth buying.

I ended up nabbing the official PS3 bluetooth headset via the SOCOM bundle, keeping the headset and ditching SOCOM. I've only had a couple of opportunities to use it, but both times the supposed noise cancellation was a joke. Unless I keep game audio at an absolute minimum, it just sputters out noise almost as bad as the Jabra that came with Warhawk. I've tried HQ mode as well as taking the sensitivity down to one, and it makes no difference.

Other people claim to have success with it, though, so I was wondering if anyone here plays games with it on a regular basis and don't see thier in-game mic indicator on Burnout or Resistance 2 just blowing the hell up all the time.

I've also thought about just getting a cheap USB headset and hoping that works better, so if anyone has any input on that, it would be appreciated.

A good game is a good game, and a good game based in the Watchmen universe could be fun. If it's bad, I guess I'll just not play it and go on with my life.

That reminds me, there's a privacy option that you can use to disable voice chat for anyone who isn't on your friends list as well.

I've had friends get into it recently. They sucked at first, but so do most people who hadn't played CoD multiplayer until 4.

It's definitely not a Quake 3-type situation where the only people left around are the pros, and the stuff you get at level 1 is more than good enough to get you kills.

Just take off the headset. You don't have to one-up anyone, or put up with their shit.
