How you doing man, did you have a good day? Any plans for the weekend?
My best friend is graduating from a Church on the Street Dreamcenter program he went to, which helped him to get off drugs (meth) and out of the gangsta lifecycle that I am 95% sure would've taken his life just like his half brother that was gunned down about two years ago if I had not intervened (I literally convinced him to come with us while he was still high and he moved in that day, then I hooked him up with my Bible Study leader and he got him into the progam).. I am so unbelievably proud of him. He'll be graduating on Sunday and it's truly a blessed thing to see. :)
It was also a miracle that the judge dropped all the charges against him and gave him ONLY 3 months probation (plus the fines he still has to pay). The attorney told my friend he was guarnteed 3 months in jail MINUMUM (up to 4 years max) because the judge had never given less in all his years that the attorney had been before the judge. And yet the judge gave my friend no jail time after much praying from everyone. It has been truly glorious, and my friend is a brand new person these days. Everything about him is different, he's matured in leaps and bounds. I know that I know that he will make it this time. :) And not end up dead or in prison like all his family would always say (no male from his family has ever not gone to prison. My friends dad was briefly let out but went right back in for murder and is now in there for life. And yet Alex should've gone but the judge gave him no time so once again he escaped prison.... So he will be a true success story and I believe will break the family curse/cycle once and for all).
I may not agree with you on all of your points but damn it if you didn't express your thoughts in damn entertaining fashion. Looking forward to more of your blogs. Damn.
