Well in addition to the perfectly reasonable "game logic" excuse, it's also established that different people change at different rates. A certain character gets bitten and takes a few days to change. it's not unreasonable that some people could take 3+ days. You could even use the game logic that a few chomps on Chuck or a survivor don't count for much, that those that turn have been chewed on much more thoroughly. When all of Chuck's HP is depleted, that's when he's been eaten enough to turn. Kind of like how the human bosses take countless gunshots to the head before dying, and how characters in an RPG can be scared of having a gun pointed at them in cutscenes but will get shot endlessly in battles.

OK, if you're going to try and make sense of game logic, how about this; if you estimate how many zombies are in the one TiR event you do at the start of the game, there's probably a couple of hundred or so. Queens only appear once in so many hundred zombies (just going off general experience). That means there'd be like 2 queens at best per event, less for the less zombie-intensive rounds such as the target range one. On the other hand, there's an achievement for killing 72,000 zombies, meaning there are at least that many zombies in Fortune City, and out of that many you'd get 720 queens. The equivalent of at least 90 episodes (360 events at 4 events per show) of TiR in only 3 days. Not that I'm trying to make out that the DR2 plot is deep and complex, but if you're going to try and take it seriously, you should take into account all the factors.

When I first started playing the game, I have to admit I got caught out in this way. But then I realised, as AlisterCat says, the descriptions usually give it all away. If it's like "A man and a woman need help" then it's survivors. If it's "A man is acting strangely" then it's a psycho. The one time I remember this rule being blurred is the suicidal guy that you find in the Palisades Mall, but even then it says he "needs your help" unlike, say, with Slappy where it says "A children's mascot is lying in a pool of blood" which is obviously a sinister thing.

Really, survivors are the best way. Zombies give you about 50PP, the very best combo weapon gives you about 2,500PP per kill (per special attack) but if you do a run and get about 8 survivors on the 3rd day (the PP they offer goes up as the time progresses) you'll be getting about 40,000PP each, for a total of 720,000PP. There's a magazine somewhere that gives you +10% PP for saving female survivors which can also help with this. Killing zombies should also be done, en route to saving survivors, but shouldn't be the thing you do for PP.

Not to mention they're also giving away MSP if you take out (or resume) a 12 month or 24 month XBL subscription. You get 800MSP and 1600MSP respectively, if I remember correctly.

I bought all of them. Well, the Cerberus Network was free because of one of those little cards you get with the game. I have to say, the two vehicle DLCs are probably not worth it. The Firepower pack adds some really interesting weapons, one of the armour packs (I think it's the Kestrel one) is really useful and of course LotSB is a great piece of DLC. The others are kind of take it or leave it, whereas the vehicle ones felt really disappointing to me. On my second playthrough now (which has been going on for months) and I'm probably just going to skip those two two mission sets.

@BBQBram:
Well it came out in the UK a while ago. Don't know why the rest of Europe would be that far behind.

As for getting Mr Chau to appear, once you've progressed beyond stage 4 he will randomly appear after you complete a level (i.e. beat a boss). The best way to get him to appear is to enter stage 3 at the point on the map that leads to the boss fight. That way you'll "complete" the level without having to actually do most of it.

I may as well just give Capcom my full bank details and let them take all the money I earn for the rest of my life.

Don't forget the avatar costumes! I bought the Ramona one but it kind of sucks because none of the haircuts or hair colours are anything like any of hers. But yeah, a lot of care and attention was put into this game on the graphic and sound design side of things, it's a shame for them to leave it so lacklustre from a glitchiness point of view.

@ImmortalSaiyan: No one's said anything specific yet but it's going to be something like you'll get a code with the DVD that will unlock Knives. Maybe she'll just be released as DLC on the release date of the DVD. The same goes for the two additional modes that are still locked at the moment (Dodgeball and Battle Royal).
