@TruthTellah

I have more instances of wishing store clerks would punch the crap out of jerk customers than the other way around.

This. Also this post is about bad business practices. Not the clerk.

So still have the ability to hide their crimes from the world and sadly, potentially even clean up all trace of them.

That's exactly what China is doing with the Tiananmen Square Massacre. China still pretends like it never happened when the rest of the world knows it did.

lots of places do that. Turkey denies the Armenian massacre was genocide, for example

Japan refuses to acknowledge the Rape of Nanking; the United States attempted to pressure Spanish courts to drop a lawsuit against the Bush administration for the wrongful imprisonment and death of a Spanish citizen held in Guantanamo Bay; and the world keeps on turning.

I know the Japanese don't like to talk about it but I thought they do acknowledge the rape of Nanking?

I mean I wouldn't like to talk about it either but they do mention it; it's not like America doesn't gloss over all fo the native american deaths and relocations and shit

Acknowledge in the sense that they have apologized for it, but they still refuse to put it in their textbooks or even acknowledge anything they did in China and Korea during the war (aside from occupying it) from a national stance.

And yeah, it's not like America's much better, but I'd argue that a key difference is that I learned about the Trail of Tears in my seventh grade history class even if it wasn't really something we focused on; I'd venture a guess that many of Japan's younger population has never heard of Nanking, less what happened there.

Japan does put it in their textbooks. I don't know why people keep saying they don't.

Anyway it's similar to how some US textbooks tend to gloss over the Vietnam War/Gulf of Tonkin/etc. People don't like to read about bad things their country did.

I can agree that I learned basically nothing about the Vietnam war in school. Only through personal want of knowledge did I learn anything. America needs more time until it admits to all of that. But just like anything else, history is written by the victors.

Not havIng read any of the posts I'm going to say most of it is a bunch of is pc people being upset that publishers are afraid to utilize the very expensive tools we have purchased. I understand the capitalism of a built in audience, but it still upsets me knowing that there could be do much better. Pc people are optimists. We just want the best effort from everyone. If we are going to try our best to make a rig, we expect the best of content. Also if we don't have the best content, we will make it ourselves. Publishers getting rid of the pc tools for games is crippling how the pc community works.

Are you going to get a free tshirt if you buy it at Best Buy? Because I dd and that is the most I remember about it. Otherwise get ready for a sub-par Deus Ex experience full of loading screens and good music. The music is good. I can't argue that.

I hope so, though I think his heart is still with movies. I think hiring Matt Kessler full time is a no brainer if they want some young blood there.

They at least need to bring on a whole bunch of interns. That's free content.
