Log of Games Completed

Okay, so I am terrible about actually finishing games through to the end, so I figure maybe if I start making a list of games I finish, maybe it will motivate me to finish more. I'm not going to try and figure out every game I've finished; this is just a list of games I've completed since 09/30/11.

  1. Kirby Mass Attack

  This game was a lot of fun (and positively adorable). I'm looking forward to going back and collecting all the medals I missed.

  After 37 hours of play time, I have 100% completed Kirby Mass Attack. This game is so much fun; you have no idea.

  3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

  The only reason I didn't finish this game sooner is that I couldn't take my Wii with me when Thanksgiving break was over. This is truly one of the greatest games I have ever played.

  4. Super Mario 3D Land

  I think it's telling that it only took me a couple of days to get to credits. Each level only made me more excited for the next, at least once I got past the first couple of worlds, which I did in less than one sitting. In any case, this game is truly Mario at his best. Excellent level design, colorful visuals, and the actual Tanooki Suit IS actually in the game.

  It is now in the first week of January 2012 and I have done everything this game has given me to do. Makes me wish the game was longer. (Not that it was super short, just that I want to keep playing and can't really, unless I want to just speed-run every level.)

  5. Assassin's Creed

  While it started to get a bit repetitive towards the end and the combat didn't always feel great, I really enjoyed my time with Assassin's Creed. The story kept me interested the entire way through, and I'm really looking forward to playing the second game.

  6. Q.U.B.E.

  This is a fun puzzle game that looks great, has amazing atmosphere, and is constantly introducing new and interesting mechanics. The only negative thing I can say is that it doesn't last more than 3 hours.

  7. Super Meat Boy

  I both hate and love this game at the same time, and I'm not done playing it. Still gotta beat all those dark world levels, right?
