Dark Cloud 3. I absolutely adore the first two games and nothing I have played has captured the community building and dungeon exploring balance of these games.

So the offerings on the PC are pretty limited unfortunately. Hopefully they improve what is available on the PC side soon. This link to the Microsoft store is filtered to show the game pass games available on PC: PC Game Pass Games.

Wow, I had assumed that this game wasn't going to be worth a go but I think you just sold me on it. Between this and Snipperclips the Switch has some pretty rad stuff for $20.

I went on with fairly tempered expectations and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the line up. Wargroove looks like a lovely Advance Wars style game and I can never get enough of those. I loved the first Steamworld Dig game so a squeal to that is very welcome. Blaster Master Zero and Shakedown Hawaii also look great. Overall I'd say that this is a really solid bunch of games coming over the next few months. These will certainly be great for padding out what was looking like a fairly light lineup for the rest of the year.

I've found horror games to be pretty good for playing with a significant other watching. A good spooky time can be had even for the person watching and puzzle solving can be a nice "cooperative" experience as well depending of the game. We have been playing Resident Evil 7 together and it has proven a good time for both player and watcher. This is all dependent on both of you enjoying scary stuff of course.

From what I have read the battery life for each JoyCon is supposed to be around 20 hours. That certainly seems substantial enough that we won't be constantly looking to charge those things.

I was a bit disappointed by the lack of online play as well at first glance. However I've found that where I might have used summons as a crutch when I ran in to trouble in the Souls games I can't do that here. Being forced to fly solo has made Salt and Sanctuary a very different Souls like experience for me, far more tense when I can't summon for the tough stuff. When Dark Souls 3 comes out I may actually try playing offline to force myself into going on my own and to capture the tension of having no help.

Well I made one and linked it to all of my social media accounts. Lets see how long until this becomes useful in any way. Would be nice to see them work this back into the 3DS and Wii U for purchases and what not, but I'm sure that is just wishful thinking on my part and probably won't happen.

After hearing how different the remake is going to be the original game defiantly still has value to me. If it was more along the lines of Nintendo's 3DS releases of Ocarina and Majora's Mask I could see the remake being the definitive version, however it sounds more like the FFVII remake is going to be a very different experience built around the bones of the original game.

Certainly it will be interesting to see how they have adapted those core ideas from FFVII to a more modern format but I feel a remake will never capture what everyone enjoyed about this game so much when it first released in '97.
