I just finished the game and though I loved some parts of it there are definitely some things about it that make me frustrated because they will deter many from enjoying the story (which is simply put "unlike anything else in video games").

The combat is simple and fine, just as the puzzles are simple though at times obtuse, and some times tedious. However because of the length of the game with a lack of variety on these aspects of the core gameplay loop (I finished in about 8 hours) you see all there is (minus slight variation) within the first 2 hours. This is easily my biggest/only real complaint with the game which is huge considering that is the gameplay loop.

However the game is telling such a unique story executed so excellently that it makes up for the repetitive nature of the gameplay loop (at least for me). I think it looks immaculate, the sound design is one of a kind(in some respects quite literally) and the mood is ominous and striking in some real powerful ways.

If you aren't in for the story or the way it's told this is most definitely not going to be for you, but I think if you can stick around and get through some of the rather frustrating parts of this game you won't be let down by the narrative whatsoever.

Conker's Badder Fur Day is the correct answer.

What @petiew said is all accurate. The better natures and IV's for pokemon will only matter substantially if you are going to be playing the game competitively, and catching a good version of a Pokemon is unlikely so breeding is the way to go.

If you do want to maximize specific stats for your pokemon though for the slightly tough Elite Four definitely use Super Training before your pokemon fight a lot of pokemon and get familiar with how EV's work...or just over level your pokemon, that's an option too. :).

People that now have the game and those that got early copies have confirmed that all X/Y Mega stones are in both games. Kinda weird as it makes X and Y sort of obsolete save for the exclusive Kalos pokemon. Really wondering what Gamefreak's plan for these games is considering the lack of compatibility patch and all.

Right on, well in that case this thread is pretty pointless haha. Thanks for the information

So as the approach of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire nears I went ahead bought the Pokebank to move all my awesome Pokemon to the new game. I then suddenly realized I would be unable to move over all the mega stones, so in lieu of that and having 2 3ds' (3dsi?) I thought I'd make a thread for trading SPECIFICALLY for this cause, as I know there will be a regular trading forum post shortly (I'm certain it'll happen). The process of course being a bit convoluted but here is an example:

Trading my Pinsir (with Pinsirite) from a copy of X/Y to a fellow Giant Bomber's Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. That fellow Bomber then trades that Pinsir (with Pinsirite) back to me on my copy of Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. I would suggest doing this in bulk so it's a bit smoother for both parties.

Now this system isn't perfect and the possibility for someone running off with your precious gems (Dr. Robotnik style) is here but I hope we all follow the GB number 1 rule, don't be a jerk. If you would like to trade throughout I of course suggest posting and then pming since Nintendo's online communication is nearly non existant.

(Post your in game name and your friend code and I'll add it to the list!)

Now everyone have fun trading stones and lets go catch 'em all...or something like that

Side-note: If we find out you can buy all of the megastones much like in x & y I guess this is near useless, but until then lets do this!
