i'll admit there are times during a game when i'm thinking "why they in the fuck did you just do that?", but i consider myself a fairly competitive person. My advice would be to start out playing against comp players and learn how to lane, last hit, gank, etc.

Ok having just played roughly 30 mins here's what I've learned so far:

• The green bar when you deploy (when you click on your dudes) is the capacity to which you can move and shoot
• Skyrangers are the only ships that can actually land
• Im not sure what all the buttons do when you land but so far i have down : layer button, cycle through dudes button, get the fuck back on the ship button and thats about it
• Currently im researching motion sensors and a large radar array (hopefully this will prove to be advantageous)
• I'm not sure how to make money
• Troops seem to be easily killed, the greys seem to blast them in one hit

Please add any and all tips/pointers/observations, this game seems to have A LOT of depth

That reminds me of Brian Jaques and the Redwall books i used to read in high school. He would intricately describe every animal and food (vittle) item there was.

Lately I've been reading "Ready Player One", i might be really lttp, but this book is fantastic

Ya i don't know how much of a hoarder the OP is, but i am at roughly 5k gold and have become extremely choosy on what items i pick to sell etc. and this is only like 5 hours in. Gold in this game, as it is in all the FO games, becomes insignificant as long as you're always on the prowl for shit to sell

Would anyone be willing to do some 2v2? The GB chat has been dead, I've yet to see more than one person in there at a time.

Do any of you guys use infestors? If so what are they best to use against unit wise?
