Dude who went to an ENT doc relatively recently here: NEVER USE AN EAR CANDLE FOR FUCKING ANYTHING.
I myself have not, but was told by the doctor in no uncertain terms that ear candles are made up snake oil bullcrap that won't remove earwax, but might well set your ears on fire.
I went to a family function recently and everyone did an ear candle. And of course I was the one being tut-tut'd for, like, no wanting to put literal fire on my ear. I fucking hate homeopathic bullshit and the way it has made everyone think that the body is like an idiot toddler that doesn't know how to take care of itself.
