It seems like starting this week, videos on the site are restricted to only Premium subscribers now. This includes Bombcase 828, the Nintendo Direct, 2/21's Game Mess, and Blight Club.
What gives? Did the Fandom overlords want to restrict all on-site video to premium, or is there some kind of issue with videos getting posted? What is weird is that the videos are readily available on YouTube.
@csl316: Let's be clear... GB didn't lose 2 of 3 video producers, Fandom FIRED 2 of the 3 video producers of a video production heavy site.
The blame here goes squarely on the heads of moronic Fandom executives, sitting in their C-Suites and not knowing or caring about their properties, people, or communities.
Like everyone else, the resume and fill browser options being missing are huge losses.
The other issue, and I haven't seen anyone else report it yet, is that the Roku app no longer loads videos. You can view videos (many have 0:00:00 for their time) and try to play them, but the spinner gets to 13% and never loads past that.
It has been an awesome and wild ride. From GameSpot stuff, to Arrow Pointing Down, to the launch of Giant Bomb and the Bombcast. Heck, nothing was cooler than sending in terrible energy drinks to a couple of those early episodes.
My one lingering question... did you every figure out what firewatch was?
Well if this is where we should direct our questions, guess I'll ask here: who wrote the front page article? A staff member we know and love or some stranger at Red Venture corporate?
I feel very strongly about getting an answer to this question.
I have typed 5 different followups after that sentence about how this all feels, but I'm going to refrain from actually saying anything until:
What's killing me is that I'm nearly finished with this game, and I've never been able to open an Initiates chest because despite creating an account, Ubisoft can't resolve their server side issues, meaning my previous games won't show up on their service.
