Batman: Combat Evolved 1

After countless hours of playing,( I was savouring my time, since this is the very last Arkham game), I have finally completed Arkham Knight. I don't really care what anyone says, to me, the Arkham series will always be one of the best gaming trilogies (not counting Origins). Is the Arkham Knight perfect? Unfortunately no, it's far from it. What makes me sad, though, is that it's bogged down by what could have made this the most amazing Batman game to date. They tried, they really did, but you c...

Mortal Kombat X Puts the "G" In Gory 0

Get Over Here! And Play This Game! You know what's convenient? When you get sick just as one of your most anticipated games comes out, which is exactly what happened to me. I've literally been locked up in my room, for days, unable to detach myself from this gory parade of death, which should make it pretty clear just how great the experience has been. Unfortunately, while MKX is literally the best fighting game I've ever played, it still falls short in a couple of important areas, which prevent ...

"Another Time, Then" 5

The Fucking Inquisitor! For anyone that's about to read this review, you should know that this is my second attempt to give an RPG genuine shot, (Lets just say that my first try didn't go all to well, since in the end I didn't end up enjoying the game that much) So, take what I say with a bit of grain if salt, because It's entirely possible that I may not be able to understand this Genre all too well, at least not yet. With that out of the way, as someone who doesn't play that many RPGs, I have t...

Oink Oink 1

Atmospheric, intriguing and story-driven, but not scaryLets be honest, no one was envious of the position A Machine For Pigs was in, since it had the unfortunate fate of being the the sequel to one of the best and most awesome horror games ever made. A Machine for Pigs has a lot of mixed reviews, which, while I don't agree with the overall assessment that the game is bad, is fair form a certain stand point. I guess the main reason for this is that A Machine for Pigs doesn't feel like The Dark D...

An Immortal Classic 0

Oh Amensia, you beautiful monster you...Yeah, I realize I'm 4 years late to the party, but with 2015 being flooded with Amnesia and Outlast-Esque upcoming horror games, I realized that, as an avid horror genre fan, I need to keep up and get acquainted with the first person style of survival horror. Over the years, I've been hearing a lot of overwhelmingly positive comments about Amnesia, in fact, remarks like "mentally scaring" and "paralyzing frequently" frequently appeared, so it finally struc...

Roller Coaster Of Destruction! 5

You think the picture's chaotic? Wait until you see the gameIt's becoming a tendency of mine to pick up games I wasn't even considering this year. First Wolfenstein, then The Evil Within, and now I've come to Sunset Overdrive. The reason I picked it up though, is probably because of the fact that I was sincerely happy that there was another open world game, which focused on mind blowing fun, and really, that's what Overdrive is all about. If you want a quick description of the game the only thin...

Death Is Your Only And True Friend In The Evil Within 3

I don't know about you guys, but this year has been very interesting for me gaming wise. It seems that every game I got excited for was either mediocre or completely disappointing, whereas the games I barely even considered to be worth my time really surprised me. The Evil Within is, obviously, the latter. Upon initial announcement I was barely interested, but as time passed I started to warm up to it and as it turns out, it's one of the best purchases I've made this year. Yes, I'm not kidding, ...

A mixture of Fun And Disappointment Was Our Destiny 0

The presentation doesn't match the quality *Sight* This was the last thing I was expecting from Destiny, and more importantly, the end product was something I would never have expected from Bungie. I have been on board with Destiny from the very moment I knew of it's existence. I've seen Bungie do a lot of good work and I knew what they were capable of, so having a first person RPG Space adventure fantasy shooter (Just saying that gives me goose bumps) made by a company I liked was an amazing de...

Shootin', Killin', Stranglin' Nazis 0

Woflenstein: The New Order As someone who doesn't really play many FPS games aside from Halo, I can safely say that this was indeed a very pleasant surprise, and I don't think I've had this much fun with a game this year. I am someone who has never really played any of the previous Wolfenstein games, I didn't really know what to expect. Others mainly said that it was a very fun game, at least, in terms of gameplay, and when I saw small clip of the new order I kind of assumed that it was over the...

Great Gameplay but... 0

I've had my eyes on THIEF for quite a long time now, but considering I've been interested in other games I decided to hold myself from buying it, in case something better appeared or I lost interest(which can happen), but a few days ago I decided to give it a go and buy it because despite the negative/mixed reception, It still looked promising. Plus I rarely trust reviewers on youtube, so I still wanted to try it. Now having finished the game, I would like to say that THIEF is the sort of game t...

Great For A Newcomer 0

The New DanteI've never been a DmC fan, nor was I ever interested enough to pick the previous games up in all honesty. I've played Devil May Cry over at a friends house years ago and to be honest I didn't think it was particularly interesting, just seemed cool and that was about the best rating I could give it at the time. I've seen some footage as well and it never struck me as anything interested, plus I was kinda lazy about playing through all the installments just to pick up the 4th one for ...

Just Plain Fun 0

A review By TheAcidSkullDespite the fact that most people kind bashed on prototype due to it's competitor Infamous( You should see what happens on youtube), I always enjoyed Prototype more due to the sheer destruction and fun, plus The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is one of my favorite games so it's not really surprising that I'd be drawn by a game with similar mechanics. (They were created by the same developers after all). So the announcement of prototype 2 had me really excited, but...

"I cannot die... Yet, I cannot live" 0

A Review By TheAcidSkullI'm a very specific kind of player when it comes to video games, I don't usually follow a lot of different types of video games nor do I have the desire to stick my hand in a lot of different pies, I most likely stick to what I like, and hack-and-slash is one the genre or style that would win my appeal any day of the week. Now I don't usually Review a lot of video games considering that fact that I don't feel that I could offer a lot due to the fact that I don't play a l...
