This is fantastic - great work rufo. So nice to be able to maximise inside a window; and have videos actually run smoothly for a change. My only concern is that Whiskey aren't getting the same metrics as they would from the Flash player - I suppose seeing as the quests are still triggered it's still OK though.
That should help you narrow down which whitelist you need to play with; in theory, you should only need to have media.giantbomb.com whitelisted for both.
Personally, I'm not a fan of NoScript at all - it tends to cause way more problems than it solves and your browser should be protecting you from dangerous scripts anyway - seems most people have it installed because they've read some scare story somewhere.
Does anyone know how much work on making old games work on new machines that GOG did themselves? Is it possible that they're restructuring in such a way so that they can offer 'working' old games for other distribution systems (like Steam)?
@rottendevice: There's a whole ton of Django learning resources around - if you're new to it, this video series is a great introduction, if you're looking for answers, Stack Overflow is pretty awesome, if you like learning from code, browse GitHub for some Django projects.
He hasn't said anything about how it's going to work if it ends up on Steam - I'd assume there'll be some attempt to let you redeem your purchase, but I think that's proven difficult for other devs. Either way, it probably won't be on Steam for quite a while.
