...really curious who the "staff" to whom this post is credited, and the "nine Giant Bomb crew members" are. just a suspicious lack of specificity in a post ostensibly intending to allay fears and say "keep calm." yes, a site is more than one person, but a site certainly is _people_. it's not just a name that can be slapped on something, it's a legacy intertwined with the people who made it what it is. or was. just saying, Red Ventures continues to have a lot to prove in terms of whether or not they understand the thing they bought. failing to foster an environment that all of the site's surviving founders could work in does _not_ engender confidence in a markenting firm's structure. much love and luck to everyone still here, I hope things are better for you than it seems like from the outside.
@mak_wikus: I wonder how long it's been this way; I wasn't auto-downloading everything back then, just filling out my archives now and ran into this exact issue. I'll just grab the High version for posterity, bummer about ye olde encode.
Finally watched this, it was good. Glad to see anime finally take over this damn site, it's been a long time coming. Like I'm watching a grand awakening to their true selves. I know this can't happen all the time, but I'd love to see more. Even if it is just "let's show these non-weebs all this weird stuff and see how they react."
I must have missed her name, but she's pretty fuckin' cool. A bit dorky, but super cool.
This was great though, I live for jeff and dan anime content now.
Victoria Holden, aka @sailorbee online, she does community stuff (maybe more!) at Crunchyroll and she's great. She does weekly recap videos over there, which I don't always watch but they're fun.
