Something I noticed...in the last month, the Quick Looks category on QLCrew stopped including Unfinished and VRodeo videos, and I'm curious about the change. Bundling them all together (but still marking them as separate) definitely meshed with my personal philosophy (and how I keep them in my offline storage), so I wanted to know the rationale behind it. I assumed that, now that Early Access games are eligible for GOTY, the categories would blur even more.

Whatever, ultimately it's a categorization for an internet video - the lowest of stakes. Since I think about this too much, I thought y'all might also!

Grats Dan and Bianca! Always a joy to see people happy. I wish I was eating crunchwraps in their honor, but Taco Bell's too far from my office right now!

Whoa, was that a mandatory section? If so, that's super lame. I had a similar issue with Guacamelee and never finished it, though that was an optional section and my own dumb fault for getting hung up on it.

If you wanna stick with an iPhone, the iPhone SE is pretty good. Same form factor as your old iPhone 5, has a fingerprint sensor and solid performance. I've had mine for over a year and it meets all my needs. Screen could be higher res, but it has a headphone jack so hey.

I would much rather have it this way than have any part of the gameplay covered up by playercams. I'll agree the space could be better used in this GBE example, but I'm also not watching these streams just for the gameplay so it isn't a huge deal for me.

I hope they learned a lot from Dangerous Golf! I liked it, ultimately, and am very interested to see them make more things.

I mean, I dunno if this is the right forum for you, but I went to prom and wish I hadn't? It isn't for everyone. If your kid is secure, emotionally stable, and all kinds of mature that teens usually aren't, he should probably go and will probably have a good time. But if he doesn't want to go, I don't think he should. If he has other friends who aren't stoked about it, maybe encourage some kind of alternate gathering, like a pizza party/movie night thing.

I will say, as much as Origin is largely a needless alternative to Steam, they have a really solid history of customer service. Props to them for keeping up their end of the bargain!

Opens with a jab at "SJWs," classy.

It's cool that you like the game, but saying "Jeff and Brad don't even like the series that much" when Mass Effect 2 won GOTY 2010 and Jeff even liked ME3 more than average...? Come on. Sometimes people just don't like things that you like, and sometimes bad characterization/dialog/animation can negatively color an experience that is largely driven by character interaction. People strongly disliking those aspects of this game enough to write off the whole thing shouldn't be surprising.

Mass Effect is not an underdog individual who needs you to stand up for them; it's the product of a gigantic company, and the fourth game in a profitable, popular franchise. People disliking it is not a grave injustice, and you aren't a bad person if you like it despite that criticism. All of that is totally okay.
