The first Godfather game was pretty good too, foolowed the first film almost to a key. I never got around to playing the second one. I do miss some good gangster games.

Actually you can do just that perfectly fine, but that’s not really what you were getting at, right? The main difference being that there isn’t the vast customization that most single player RPGs have which I agree there isn’t but compared to most modern RPGs is definitely more than most. I honestly can’t recall the last JRPG in recent years that allowed you switch the main character’s fighting style, skills, type of gear out with something else except for maybe the recent Yakuza 7.

Watched Babylon, which had a great and promising premise but it was not good, it was like a bad attempt at redoing Monster by the way of Psycho Pass with some really bad writing. What I wouldn’t give for a proper anime crime drama.

Also Watched Haikyuu and holy crap is it good.

Resident Evil 7, cause it’s a genuinely scary Resident Evil game and that makes for great entertainment ala the RE2 Remake

@giant_gamer: My impression is he had a good relationship with the East team, and the only reason he left is because he got a job in an industry he adores.

It’s pretty cool that we Danes finally get a game about our history, even got two Danes voicing the protagonist.

@efesell: Fair enough, I do enjoy customization like that in games like Original Sin.

XIV has the job system, which probably makes it one of the only modern JRPGs that subscribes the most to the RPG aspect alongside Yakuza 7.
