@thebunnyhunter: I'm not too fussed about quality, I suppose I'll try to watch some if I get the time. I'd say I'll report back on this thread but I'll most likely do so on the actual anime thread (Which I think this thread has a risk of overshadowing)

A wave of nostalgia reading this thread, video games have structured my life from the beginning also.

If you have them, try doing sample exams like a real exam. Schedule a time for it and everything. It helps because then you'll know generally how you'll go and you'll get used to the general exam situation.

The problem with that for the subjects I'm doing is that for Science the syllabus is constantly changing so it's hard to find information that is up to date and therefore relevant, as for Geography a lot of the things I struggle with are Case Studies that are specific to our school

So I'm doing my GCSE's and for the most part when I revise over things I just read over them again, I feel like it helps very little as the things I already knew I tend to skip over, and the things I don't know sometimes still don't sink in. So I was wondering if anyone had any revision tips or techniques to help me out, or anything to do with exams.

If it really makes a difference, my targets are lowest is a B and highest is an A*

I feel like you should clarify whether this is specific to the same group of 5 people or whether it would be different people each time, the latter would be preferred by me personally. Also, another cool feature would be (assuming you posted these on the forums) to ask people of their opinions, and then give your favourites on the next blog post. EVEN MORE OPINIONSS!!

The whole "there is no end-game" was a big positive for a lot of people but at times it does seem like a negative. The fact you can do most things from level 1 means that there really doesn't seem to be much of a point in levelling. Even at level 80 you'll still be doing most of the same shit and you'll have your level altered to match everyone elses. I think maybe Guild Wars 2 focusing so much on equality got a lot of elitists butthurt, but I've got to confess it is nice to actually feel powerful at some point

No One Lives Forever and the original Red Faction both introduced me to first person shooters and were both excellent games. No One Lives Forever in particular never gets brought up.

A franchise that died only semi-recently were the Tony Hawks games, THUG2 was the shit as a kid.
