I'd rather be playing NFS High Stakes (the 1999 NFS game)

Fuckin' A man. One of my favorite games of my childhood. Glad to see somebody else appreciates it.

Maybe you can clear something up for me then. I played the demo for months and then borrowed a copy of the game from a friend. I seem to remember being able to do races with 16 players and an option in the display settings called "Distractions" which when set to high would add extra fireworks, hot air balloons, air plains, etc. Years later I got my own copy from the NFS Collection and it only did 8 vehicle races and there was no distractions setting. Did I imagine these features or what? It's possible some options just don't show up if you don't have the right hardware. Or maybe the version from NFS Collection is gimped or maybe these features were only in the demo. It's always puzzled me.

I definitely remember the fireworks and hot air balloons, but i don't remember that being a setting (maybe a cheat code?), and I don't remember there being 16 player races. That's seems a little ambitious for a game so old, but I could be wrong on both accounts.

I really enjoyed the absolute shit out of Sniper Challenge...I love FPSs and puzzle games, so this was right up my alley :D Also, that is one hell of an impressive score; how were you able to get it that high?

Anyway, my high score is 317,783 - about a tenth of yours =|

Well once you do all of the challenges, your challenge multiplier goes to 2.86x. And if you get silent assassin, it doubles your score. So if you had both of those, your score would be 1,186,608. Then you've gotta hide all of the bodies, preferably shoot them while they're stil walking to get a moving headshot bonus (oh yeah, obviously get all headshots) and your score will climb.

I really just came here to brag, but I'm curious what peoples' high scores are and what you think of the game. I'm playing on PC and got 3,185,363 which they say is 11th in the nation (USA) and 183rd in the world. This is probably my life's greatest achievement to date.

As for the game, I absolutely love it. The sessions are of a perfect length (~4min), the kills are extremely satisfying, and although it's really not a whole lot like a full featured Hitman game, it still has that awesome trial-and-error gameplay that once you get down it becomes immensely rewarding. I honest think I've gotten $50 worth out of this stupid little pre-order bonus already. I really hope they have a few sniper challenge levels included in the full game.

You guys are late to the party.

P.S. I loved how ripped this lady was.

Why would they put a hospital gown over her tank top?

If I wasn't American, I'd vote for Barack Obama, but since I am, I'm voting for Romney. See what I did there?...

I'm actually not a fan of alcohol. That is all.

Glad you could share that with us.

Left Hand Brewery's Milk Stout is my current favorite, although I've personally made some beers I liked more, but I'm biased.
