At the time I asked around what IP would be good for a Rising Thunder type game to actually get interest. I guess League qualifies. Certainly big enough, varied enough. It's too advanced for me though, I didn't like how it had like 6 attack buttons. I don't think it's quarter circles that make fighting games hard, it's having 6 attack buttons.
@badnews: Only towards Fire Emblem and only after it took more than its share and continued taking slots that could've gone to underrepresented franchises. Sakurai let me down in the main game with anime sword fighters, then got my hopes up saying he'd listen to the fans but instead he only accepted one character from the poll (a great one mind you, not knocking Bayo) and did a Fire Emblem character no one asked for.
It kills me that Inking and K Rool got costumes while sex offender Corrin gets to be playable. That was clearly a consolation prize for 2nd and 3rd place. Either one of them would be great taking that DLC slot but no.
80 dollars total? Wow, holy shit, that's too much for Fire Emblem. I hope that backfires on them and this isn't half as successful as Awakening.
I hate that they took one of only 7 DLC slots for Smash for a 6th Fire Emblem character. Of all the series to get the only original 1st party DLC character... Of all the series to get two DLC characters... Of course it had to be the one that was already wildly over represented. Fucking Sakurai.
I got a short way into Awakening and stopped cold because I didn't make more time for it once I wasn't on vacation. I won't be buying this game and I won't be finishing Awakening.
I hope you can get some perks or whatever they are in Titanfall in the single player. I'm all about that fucking Run and Gun. All I did when I played Titanfall after getting Run and Gun was run straight at fools while unloading at them at the same time. It feels amazing to both close on someone and fill them full of daylight at the same time. They want to get away and they want to fire back but they can't do both. I can.
Looks like 2/3s of that game is really bad and the rest is old. Passing on it. Also I find the idea of Paper Kamek distasteful. Where's Kamek? She was amazing in both RPG Paper Marios!
Brad you should play Thousand Year Door. In that one you become a wrestler and have to play to the crowd in order to progress in your career. Later you solve murder mysteries on a train.
That Fire Emblem shit is super gross. The grossest part is that that Bill Cosbyesque rapist dosing gay converter is getting into Smash Brothers. His series already has more than its share but this Cosby gets in anyway. What a waste. Could've gone to, I dunno, the second place poll choice instead of Sakurai's favorite rapist?
