Here's my list. This year I put three side awards in the description of the list rather than making a seperate list for those. The awards this year are "Most Honorable Mention", "The Fuck This I'm Done Award" and "Character of the Year".

My GOTY List. In addition to the top 10 there are 3 side awards with a winner/runner up each, "Most Honorable Mention", "The Fuck This I'm Done Award" and "Character of the Year".

At least from the text summary sounds to me like it still has a place at GOTY conversations. It lost a star from lowered production values and the fact that the two new modes they added are both bad. It's still Hitman, and it still rules and there's so much good that can be brought up in defense of it it'll make the list.

As for overall GOTY I'd like to see one of the indie games get it. Into the Breach, Dead Cells or Celeste. So far I'm favoring Celeste, though by year's end I'm expecting Smash Ultimate to have overtaken it personally.

Rivals is on Xbox One, though it's consistently four or five months behind the PC version. That's not an exaggeration.

I really wish they exposed the roll jump better. It's so key to moving fast in this game and also since it takes you super far it's so so useful. It's like the Dive Onto Hat stuff in Odyssey, only easier to do than even that. Just roll and jump and you'll go really far really fast.

GAMERS! is surprisingly good actually given the name. The plot is almost always surprising in a really nice way. What you’d guess would happen almost rarely happens which is neat.
