  • theonewhoplays posted a message in the forum topic FINAL FANTASY XVI | Prologue DEMO. on the Final Fantasy XVI board

The game does feel very old in its design, but as someone who loves the Yakuza games I don't mind. I also like that each city usually only has 1-3 sidequests that, while uninspired in their designs, a...

The motion blur was so bad I actually got headaches, but turning VRR off in the system settings helped. With it off quality mode seems the best option for now even if I enjoy the 60 fps battles more.I...

There's quite a lot of incidental "fucks" getting throw around by and some are missable. The second part of the demo, further into the game, has quite a few. I personally found it hilarious to see Cli...

I just want something whimsy like Gravity Rush but I'm not holding my breath. I will be interesting to see what ND does with the TLOU multiplayer but it will need to be something really special to ma...

Super Mario Brothers 7/10 (nothing to say about it really, what you see is what you get)Guardians of the Galaxy 3 8/10. Solid end to the Guardians that is somewhat weighed down by stuff outside of Jam...

Yosho P's comments definitely left me with a poor taste in my mouth which is only worsened by the fact that you have a dog in your party. Only whites and dogs are realistic choices for you fantasy par...

I wouldn't play Atomic Heart either way but I've yet to see any factual evidence of wrongdoing. All I can say from what I've seen is that calling the game's story pro-Soviet would be like calling Bios...

Parasite Eve is almost too slow to play, and would look good with a fresh coat or paint. While they're at it they should at least release PE2 world-wide.

  • theonewhoplays posted a message in the forum topic Finishing Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII [Part 2] - Who Do We All Have At Least One "Messy Game" We Love?. on the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII board

Lightning Returns might not be the best game in the trilogy but it's my favorite by far. Its only real issue is the confusing and quite terrible beginning.

Sorry about double post but I wanted to gush about Vampyr a little. It's set in London across 6 or so sections. You play as a doctor recently turned vampire and try to figure out who did it to you, whi...

@broshmosh: Remember Me is really solid and I replay it from time to time. Don'tNod also made the equally forgotten, but more interesting and flawed Vampyr. That's a game where your choices can have a...

@mathewfinch: Lucas hasn't held the rights for over a decade and Disney have released a new trilogy and multiple TV shows, and several games have been released as well. Lucas have had no hand in them ...

@styx971: Atelier Ayesha and Escha & Logy are both really good IMHO (Dusk series). The third one felt like a major downgrade and I played the first release which didn't include any sce...

@releso9020: This reminds me that I still think Bloodmoney is the best in the series, and that I enjoyed Absolution more than the new Hitman. The new games have too large maps and feel like a hassle t...

Oh, Jeff. You have no idea what anime fans watch and are willing to defend. This episode is honestly pretty low on the scale. If you are wondering how something like this episode ended up on Netflix, ...

Cyborg 006 of Cyborg 009 fame saves the team by burning tunnels in the ground with his fire breath I'd say the science checks out perfectly.
