I played Doom Eternal for 25 hours and completed 6 missions of the game. (nightmare difficulty)

Here are the review toplines:

1. Intense and violent FPS game with a particular combat mechanics.

2. The story is simple and easy to understand.

3. There is a considerable variety of weapons, skills, combat modes and collectibles.

4. For full gameplay experience, the game should be played at Nightmare difficulty.

5. The price tag is fair to offered game content.

Gameplay Overview

Doom Eternal is FAITHFUL to its roots: guns, demons, violence, gore and an intense FPS gameplay. The game mechanics are set in a way that forces you to play in the RIP AND TEAR style. Shot, move around, swap weapons, use abilities, dash, final blows... You will do all that in every 30 seconds of combat. Playing Doom Eternal is not about standing still or finding cover to shoot at targets. The most effective way to get what you need to survive is by engaging aggressively and killing demons.

Aside from all the action, there are 10 different items to explore and collect. 6 of them are related to weapons and character upgrades and the rest are lore and cosmetic items. All these items and currency points MAY LOOK COMPLEX to some but after a dozen hours of gameplay, it becomes easier to understand.

If by any chance anyone wants to check the full review.

@glots I made a comment about the game pass at the Game Link section of my review. But I considered 29.99 as a price tag to classify as Neutral/fair as you said, there is the variable that can cost 1 buck, in that case, is a big PROS.

I played Ori 2 for +24 hours and completed 100% of the game. Here are my topline thoughts:

1. It is a game about exploration, combat and a bit of logic.

2. You will run back and forth during the entire gameplay to complete quests and collect things.

3. The game story is charming and the graphics look amazing.

4. It's a must-play sequel and you can also check-out Ori and the Blind Forest.

5. The price tag is fair to offered game content.

Happy to chat about it, the game is also available for Xbox Game Pass members.

Skul is a roguelike indie game, I played for 25 hours and reached the last boss. I was surprised how easy it feels to play and how hard it is to beat it. Here are my topline thoughts about it and links for the review:

  1. It's a roguelike game, death means starting all over, be sure you like the genre.
  2. RNG plays an important role in this game, you need skills and luck to beat it.
  3. Even though it's out only for PC, playing with a controller is easier than playing with a keyboard.
  4. The game offers more than what is charged on its price tag.

Anyone playing it? I'll be happy to answer questions or just chat about the game.

I played Journey To The Savage Planet for +21 hours and completed 100% of the game. Here is a summary of my thoughts:

1. You will explore, collect and shoot at this game.

2. Every element of the game is well connected and thought.

3. The game feels simple and at the same time, there is a variety of things to do and learn.

4. The game is polished, I played for +21 hours and didn't find any bug.

Happy to chat about it!

I played DBZ:K for 25 hours and completed 50% of its storyline, here are my topline thoughts:

  1. A game made for fans or potential fans. It is first an anime show and then a game.
  2. There are dozens or hundreds of cutscenes at main missions, all of them with voice-over acting.
  3. Most of the game you will be watching cutscenes or arena fighting.
  4. It has no lead hero and you can play/fight with various characters.
  5. It's not an RPG open-world game, even though there are similar features: collecting, side missions, inventory, etc…

Anyone else playing it? I plan to keep playing it until I complete the campaign.

I played Paranoia for 20 hours and completed the game in four of its possible endings, follows a resume of my thoughts based on my gameplay experience:

  1. Game is fun and full of concepts and elements to learn
  2. It's much more of an ACTION than an RPG game, it's beatable by mastering its mechanics.
  3. Reading is necessary to get involved with the game and its story.
  4. It has bugs and some interfere in the gameplay.
  5. You can complete the game in 15 to 25 hours.

Anyone else playing it?

I played Wattam for 8 hours and completed it twice, these are my thoughts:

1. A family game made for children in their early childhood.

2. To adults play and have fun they must reconnect with the child they once were.

3. Game is easy and short for adults but can be challenging and endless for kids.

4. The game can fill you with joy and happiness.

5. A perfect game for the end-of-year holiday season.

Yesterday I finished my game review on SWJ:FO after 25 hours of gameplay, here are my topline thoughts:

1. The game genre is action-adventure and it's much more ACTION than adventure.

2. There are "lite-features" of customization and RPG.

3. It perfectly recreates what's being a Jedi, sometimes I felt being in the movies living the adventure as one.

4. Character evolution is bonded to story missions.

5. There are small bugs and it crashed twice in 25 hours of gameplay.

6. This is possibly one of the games I had the most fun playing in 2019.
