    Although many PC racing games featured realistic simulation style handling, Gran Turismo was one of the first console games to bring simulation style handling to a home console. This was a result of the increased computing power brought about by the Playstation generation of hardware.

  • Gran Turismo 2 is a two-disk driving simulator developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the much awaited sequel to Gran Turismo. Gran Turismo 2 includes over 600 cars to race on 27 tracks across the world. New to this installment, players may choose to race certain events individually rather then be forced into a tournament, players can choose to play off road rally races and a full featured multiplayer mode for two players.
