I have also never seen a game that showed realistic melee fighting. I wanted a game where if you hit someone in the head with a war hammer, it will explode like a melon getting shot with a desert eagle
I am not thinking fantasy, but just an older time where melee weapons were the main weapons. I though of this while playing TF2 and kept seeing a demoman with a sword and board and started fighting him with a sledge hammer. It was pretty fun.
Well I mean the Condemned series did have good melee combat, but that was survival horror, not really an action/extremely light rpg game based around really well done melee combat
I am truly sorry if this idea has already been presented on this forum. Would a game that is based all around first person melee fighting [ala oblivion] but not an RPG. The game would have no RPG elements besides finding weapons that are different, so an inventory but no stats. What do you guys think?
Whatever is on the left of your monitor is what you have to survive the first 24 hours of a zombie apocalypse, do you survive? Its just you and me USB cord, till the end.
I found giant bomb after listening to the cancelled 1up podcast where the GB crew were guests. After 1up was killed off, I started listening to GB and my life has improved exponentially. How did you come across Giant Bomb
Do you think that the whole TF2 going F2P means something? TF2 is undoubtedly going to be around for a while, but do you think that the whole F2P move means something?
In Morrowind, the game was the same no matter what level you were, you could be killed almost immediatly in some areas and be good in others. I liked that, it at least gave you the choice to hunt for good gear at the start. Oblivion then introduced a leveling system so you could beat the whole game at level one and still only get an iron dagger at best. Do you guys think that Skyrim will be non-leveled like Morrowind or leveled like Oblivion?
