Naw, Fantasy Flight to too big of a piece of Asmodee's push into North America, they wouldn't be folded any time soon. Fantasy Flight thrived before they had Star Wars, they'll be fine if they lost it. That said, I am concerned about the degree they've leaned on it in recent years at the expense of their own properties.

Speaking of FF, anyone here play their Fallout game? Kinda interested in the theme but it looks awfully random even for ameritrash.

Been playing some Fallout 4. Only got through the opening couple hours back when I picked it up, and all of the not great word of mouth hasn't help me getting back to it, but right now I'm enjoying it. Might be in the mood for exploring a Bethesda-style world at the moment.

Good to see, although I don't know if I'll find the motivation to go back at this point.

Haven't listened to all of the MMO's music, but I'll take VIII. Say what you will about the rest of the game, it has a heck of a soundtrack.

In a word: yes. Granted this isn't the first time Nintendo has declined to try to compete in the hype stakes at E3, but the Smash patch notes segment was sort of crazy. There's a place for that kind of minutia, but as your prominent E3 presentation? I'm with Jeff, that was pretty bad. I was also disappointed they didn't go into detail on Fire Emblem more besides "here's what it looks like." Granted there will be more directs in the future on it, but overall Nintendo had the least exciting presentation of the platform holders.

@genericbrotagonist: This strikes me as harsh but time will tell. I'm much more interesting in them branching out with this than following up with another straightforward Fallout sequel.

Yeah this has been on my radar. Looks really nice, although I'm worried how involved the rice harvesting side of it is. Not sure I want to engage in that too much.

Yeah I'm not in love with the game's aesthetics. Not grabbing me like the Souls games did.

To be honest Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI are probably near the top in terms of "I just want to know what these are!" but playing along with more tangible stuff:

1. Cyberpunk 2077- Yeah it's just easy to imagine the studio's style of game in that setting being a whole lot of fun.

2. Resident Evil 2- My personal most effective trailer this year; wasn't excited about this beforehand, now I'm super down for old-school scary zombie action.

3. Death Stranding- Still enigmatic, but starting to feel more like a tangible game now.

4. Ghost of Tsushima- Still need to see more of the game's structure and not sold on how good the combat will be, but this could be dream game if Sucker Punch nails it, and Sucker Punch is a quality studio.

Other honorable mentions: Devil May Cry 5, Fallout 76, Sekiro, Dragon Quest XI, Fist of the North Star

I didn't put much time into Fallout 4 but I'm intrigued what this game is going for. That said, is the shooting going to feel good enough with no (traditional I guess) VATS? Is the building stuff better? Will the quests and stories be interesting enough with no npcs? Seems like there's a lot of ways it could disappoint people.
