  • The Metal Gear Solid series hasn't disappointed me thus far. And I bet this one will be no different. With Kojima out of the helm, it should be interesting what the team at Kojima Production thinks a Metal Gear Solid sequel should be like.

  • The first one caught me off guard at how good it is. Sure, it relied on a ton of "boo!" moments. But the sound engineering was just fantastic. I remember the first time I exited that Zero-G area just to be smacked with the loud rumbling of that engine room. Playing this one with headphones should be just as interesting.

  • Really, any Valve game will do. The first one was such a technical marvel, it was fresh and it was original. But let's be real here, that game was really a tech demo for what's to come. It's going to be interesting to see what the imaginative fellows at Valve are going to cook up using the Portal tech in this follow up.

  • Okay, I admit that I haven't played the first game yet. But from what I've heard and what I've seen, it was amazing for its time. A shooter with RPG elements set in a cyber-punk universe? Hell yes! If the game play is anything like the CG trailer that SquareEnix has created, Eidos might just have the next WRPG phenomenon.

  • The first game came out with little to no fanfare. It was not until Steam had it for sale that I noticed it. But playing through it, I knew one thing: that the developers of this game, CD Projekt RED Studio had poured their hearts and souls to create it. The game oozed charm, and the world that was built knew how to suck the player in. Sure, it has its fair share of bugs, but man did that game rock. With this game being made by a now more experienced team, The Witcher 2 should one game that CRPG fans should keep an eye on. Hopefully, this one would let me live my dream of becoming dice poker champ all over again.
