Nuerosis is a pretty good band. More progressive metal though, a little like Tool.

The last two Mastodon albums are pretty bitchin.

I mostly listen to Power Metal, so if that's your thing I can recommend Dark Moor, Hammerfall, Edguy, Avantasia and Battelore.

I would recommend anything by Neurosis, Mastodon, Om, Sleep, Shrinebuilder, High on Fire, Kyuss, Clutch, etc. Anything doom or sludge really, it's all good.

The new Blind Guardian album comes out in a little over a week!

Here's some of their best songs, in my opinion of course. 
 

I have been blasting me some Church of Misery a lot lately. This song sort of sounds like a mix of Corrosion of Conformity and Down. Surprising they are Japanese too.
 

Between the Buried and Me are amazing if you like progressive metal.

Soilwork just released their new album, The Panic Broadcast.  Definitely one of their better ones. 
 
Into Eternity's The Incurable Tragedy is always a great listen, especially "A Black Light Ending". 
 
Demon Hunter's The World is a Thorn is probably my favorite metal album of the year so far.
 
Misery Signals' Controller was definitely a great evolving step for those guys and a completely solid album. 
 
The Red Chord's Fed Through The Teeth Machine is fucking phenomenal. 
 
As I Lay Dying's new album, The Powerless Rise, is pretty brutal and shows those guys writing harder music than ever. 
 
Sikth's Death of a Dead Day is always a great listen as well.  Sadly, they broke up a while back. 
 
And last but not least, Protest The Hero's Fortress took those guys in a more metal direction than Kezia before it.
