Need new Metal songs :)

Alright, so.. I'm super bored with my music right now. It seems that I've heard all the songs II have a million times and I need something different. I listen to Hard Rock and Metal some bands that I love right now are..
Rammstein All Shall Perish VNV Nation
Metallica  As I Lay Dying  10 Year
Parkway Drive  Job For a Cowboy Hatebreed
Pantera  Volbeat Dio
Korn  Avenged Sevenfold Evanesence
Slipknot Breaking Benjamin Cradle of Filth....

Just to name a few :P

Any suggestions to what bands or songs I should get?
Anything that sounds like any of these bands or falls under that category would be sweeeeet

<3 Thanks!

3 Inches of Blood are really good.  I saw them with LoG in St. Paul last summer.

+1 to H the B, Between the Buried and Me, Protest the Hero, and 3 Inches of Blood.
 Here's some my favorite stuff.

The Dillinger Escape Plan: Amazing band. Finally got to see them live about a month ago and they were INSANE. Really nice guys too.

Converge: The forefathers of modern metalcore. Some of the most intense music I've ever listened to.

That should be enough for now. Feel free to ask for more.

When I listen to metal metal, not just hard rock / nu-metal, I stick to things like Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Elvenking, Nightwish, stuff like that.

If you're big on progressive metal, try out Tool, Threshold, Queensryche, Ayreon, Shadow Gallery, Beyond Twilight, Pain of Salvation, and Royal Hunt.

@CL60:  @Vital: You guys have no idea how much it warmed my heart to see others posting Maiden. Respect points for both you guys. :)

@TipTipTipaRoo: When it comes to Metal, Iron Maiden is pretty much all I listen to. And when it comes to Maiden, I would suggest to try to look for a good live recording rather than a studio version. I personally feel that apart from a few exceptions, Maiden is just about always better live. That's not to say that studio recordings are bad, by any means. They're just way cooler and harder live.

I really liked Horizons.  Sylosis is another newer band that kicks some serious ass.  Those guys know how to write some damn good thrash with just enough melody to it.  They've also got an awesome Pantera-styled groove ending on their song "Teras".

I would also suggest checking out Holographic Universe by Scar Symmetry.  Great album, and too bad they lost a great singer as well.  It's got a bit of Gothenburg influence in it, but it's really just good melodic metal.

I mostly stick to Christian music. Outside of Demon Hunter and August Burns Red amongst a few others, I haven't seen much of it posted so here's some for you to look into. I'd have to agree that Demon Hunter's "The World Is A Thorn" is one of my favorite albums of the year.

Becoming the Archetype - End of the Age from their album Dichotomy.

This song is called Self-Existent, about those who saw Jesus die and rise again.

Into the darkened tomb/I walked but only found it empty
My mind is tormented/My soul is shaken
As a flame is tormented by the wind and rain
As the earth is shaken by an earthquake
My heart has accepted/What my eyes could never have believed
I watched Him die
In the silence death is defeated
In my spirit the battle rages on
And then I stepped into the light
I heard His voice, I saw His face
And then He stood there before me
A man buried but never dead
My heart has accepted/What my eyes could never have believed
I saw Him rise
HE IS ALIVE!

For Today - This song is called "Ezekiel (The Visionary)" From their last album, "Portraits".

Demon Hunter - From "The World Is A Thorn". This song is called "Tie This Around Your Neck".

The Showdown - Cerberus: The Hellhound Awaits from their album "Backbreaker". Their new album "Blood in the Gears" releases on August 24th. I already have it pre-ordered. With that and Metroid: Other M, this is gonna be one hell of a month for me! :D

Other bands to check out: Haste the Day, Impending Doom, The Famine, The Ascendicate, Living Sacrifice, As I Lay Dying, War of Ages, Virginia Creeper, UnderOath, Oh Sleeper and With Faith or Flames.

I'm not sure if this is the sort of things you're after as it's sort of prog/power metal.

Still, I can't get enough of this guy at the moment, so I might as well share:  Sequester
It's really not bad at all for one guy making metal based on RPGs. :)

If not already recommended.  Definitely check out Throwdown they have that Pantera sound.

I'd recommend Otep for a lyrical powerhouse, she writes some solid stuff, and can floor you with some of their stuff.    This one is a nice example of the lyrics, generally they are a little more heavy.

2Cents
is an up and comer, currently on tour with BLS and Clutch
 http://www.myspace.com/2cents

You might check out 36 Crazyfists I like their earlier stuff more.

 Dethklok,
easily has put out some of the best metal in the last few years.

 Hail The Villain
is good for some easy listening stuff.  Mutiny WIthin is a another easy listening one.

Dry Kill Logic doesn't have anything new as of late, but the albums they have out there are strong.

 Ill Nino
is another solid sounding band.

Check out In Flames, been around for a long time, very solid stuff.

Bury Tomorrow
, another up and comer....two singers, one growls the other sings, nice bunch of kids from across the pond.

@TipTipTipaRoo: Songs? Meh! Go whole albums. I recommend the father of death metal, Death. Specifically the albums The Sound of Perseverance, Symbolic, and Human (in that order).

I also recommend Necrophagist for the best technical brutal death around.

And then there's Gorod: baroque-ish tech-death metal.

The earlier Gojira stuff is some of the best trancy metal out there. Incredible low end.
