Game I Beat in 2016

These are the games I beat in 2016.

List items

  • (PC) Beat the game on Easy with the Kestrel "B" type. I don't care it was easy, it still counts!

  • (PC) Seems to be my year for beating rogue-likes that I kickstarted. Beat this one on Easy. Killed the end boss on my first try (though to be fair, it destroyed my last escort right before it died).

  • (PC) Played it through on casual just to see the ending. Yup. That was an ending.

  • (PC) Beat the game on easy (notice the pattern here?). Might go back and play on normal at some point. I am not crazy enough to do higher than that.

  • (PC) Technically beat. Hey, I got achievements for beating the game (on casual, but hey, if you hadn't realized that I am a filthy scrub by now, you haven't been paying attention).

  • (PC) Been poking at this one for years. I like the game, but I am glad I get to cross it off my pile of shame.

  • (PC): An alright RTS. The ability to plod down as a dragon and help your army was a nice wrinkle. Not especially deep, and the political stuff seemed...er...heavy handed at times, but all and in all a fun experience.

  • (XB1) Beat it in the most amazingly broken way possible. Got an item that gave me thorn damage of 300% of my vitality. Was playing a crusader, so strength and vitality were my stats. Was swinging for 20K damage, was doing 200K damage from being hit. It was amazing. Cleared a couple of champions by letting them hit me twice.

  • (PC): Beat it in one sitting. This game is indeed SUPER HOT. What is also SUPERHOT? The ridiculous amount of heat the devs are getting for developing the VR version on the Rift first. Now it's just a review section of madness, half the people crying that "exclusives will lead to a PC console war", the other half pissing on the Rift, and a handful of idiots who seem to think that developing for a VR headset is the same as developing for a normal monitor...
