I would be pretty sad if we switched over completely to digital. I like the feeling of books and comics in my hands, I can't really focus otherwise. Making my way through the Discworld series right now, and some online comics. I had way better taste as a kid, heh, I made my way through alot of "classic" books. Stuff like Lord of the Flies and Watership Down, even though I didn't understand some of the deeper meanings. Now I have no patience... what happened to me?
@Hellmouth: But people who "look like immigrants" aren't vacationing. They live here. Darker people are basically being told they're not and never will be "American" enough.
Even if you have a green card, you wouldn't want to carry it around everywhere. They're valuable, and cost hundreds of dollars to replace. Would you want to carry around and worry about your documentation when you're in your own neighborhood? It's pretty ridiculous.
You do realize that you have to pay a lot of money or wait years sometimes to legally enter the U.S. from Mexico, right? The system is so bloated and expensive that people eventually get desperate. This bill hits close to home for me. I'm second generation, my dad waited so long he eventually had to settle for being a "legal alien". He will never be a full American citizen. A lot of my family's had issues with this, and I've seen other families literally be torn apart - mothers and fathers being deported while the kids born here are put into extended family or friend's care. It's not a "romanticized" view, it's reality, and it sucks.
Honestly? The majority of illegal immigrants work their asses off, send money home and then go home after a certain amount of time. Claiming that they put a strain on social services isn't an excuse either since immigrants typically pay taxes but aren't eligible for government services.
I like dogs more. Cats are okay, but I just never know what they're thinking... and everything is on their terms, they're like people. Dogs are up for anything and they're more playful.
Wonder if they'll pull on other mythology/religions for more Persona? Catholic figures would be interesting, if a little weird.
I'd like for it to have a dark tone similar to Persona 3. And more added to the S-Links all around. Being able to date people of either gender would be nice, disappointed me when you couldn't date Kanji after the big deal they made of it.
