Visually it looks really cool. But it just feels like a heist/spy movie but in a sci-fi setting. Lately I haven't been into watching trailers. Maybe this one just doesn't do the movie justice? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Got Breath of the Wild when the Switch came out. I'm 50+ hours in. I clearly recall how happy it was when I met another person in the game. Excited someone was alive in what seemed like a barren land and then finally finding a small settlement in the stable.
Also playing Bloodborne for the first time. Man that game keeps me on my toes. I was really lost in the Forbidden Forest(?) ran into the bosses and lost. Happiest moment was beating the Blood Starved Beast. I had so much trouble with that one. I remember I was streaming so a friend could watch and I'm saying all these things and really happy I finally beat that boss. Then realized My mic was unplugged the whole time.
Finally, Yakuza 0. Its quirky and fun. I always get a kick out of that series.
First of all I love this game. The immersion and all just has me hooked. Me and my friends talk about it almost every day. I can almost forgive all the things I don't like about it.
What I dislike:
The weapons breaking. The most common issue.
Climbing up then it starts raining.
Wish there was a cookbook that fit into the compendium section. Every meal you learn or potion goes in there.
Not enough storage space. Wish there was a place to store your goods.
I actually pre-ordered mine. Thought I would wait and saw the availability and went for it. My brother who is not big on consoles even pre-ordered. I think part of the reason was his young son is now getting to the age where he wants to play some games. Looking forward to it.
My dad is an old school arcade guy. I downloaded Pac-Man and going to pick up Ms. Pac-Man for when he comes to visit. Will be looking at a few more games so he can play once in a while. The dude is great at Zuma on his computer.
After watching Alex play and what I've known about the game beforehand I think its right up my alley. Just want it a bit cheaper before I go all in on it.
Dan at GBE is a great idea. I'm not always crazy about the guy but he just has these moments that I find great. And when he's playing video games I feel like I get to see the real guy. At the east coast he seemed to flow well with them. Something that to me doesn't always happen with him on the west coast podcast.
