Upcoming games I'm really looking forward to. I'm constantly updating this list, removing titles once they're released and adding new ones as they grab my attention.

List items

  • I'm almost doubting that this game will ever come out.

  • I really liked the first one. Excellent atmosphere and some really unique gameplay mechanics.

  • I don't know much about this game except that it's being made by Gearbox Software and has aliens. Tons of them. That should be enough, no?

  • Having not played either Bioshock games yet, I don't really know how to react to this new direction. However, it looks very interesting and I really dig the city in the sky setting.

  • I'm always up for some epic loot collecting and monster slaying. Will be interesting to see how this will differ from Diablo and other action RPGs.

  • I don't know if there's room for yet another zombie game with "Dead" in the title, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

  • This might just be my nostalgia speaking but I'm pretty excited for this. I'll be the first to admit that the old Carmageddon were pretty stupid, but they were just the right kind of stupid.

  • The E3 gameplay footage totally sold me on this game, and I've never even played a Tomb Raider game before.

  • I love Tim Schafer and I also love adventure games. This should be really good.

  • Another Double Fine adventure game? Alright, sold. It will be interesting to see how these two games will differ from each other.

  • Here's to hoping this will be a deeper and more hardcore experience than Diablo 3 was. The free-to-play aspect has me a bit skeptic though.

  • I've always been a fan of South Park, and from what I hear this might be the first SP game to actually be really good.

  • Even though the first game still lingers in my backlog, I know enough about it to say that a sequel to a game so weird and bizarre as Zeno Clash can only be a good thing.

  • Probably the most exciting game of E3 for me. Can't wait to hear more about it.

  • Really enjoyed my time with the first Metro game, quirks included. They already nailed the atmosphere and setting, so hopefully this time they will nail the gameplay part too.

  • A game series I'm briefly familiar with, but had trouble getting into due to it being kinda old. Anyway, I'm happy to see the Thief franchise live on.

  • While I haven't played Rayman Origins yet, I've seen enough of it to know that I love it. I'm happy to see another 2D Rayman game in that same vein is being made.

  • As a big fan of the first Luigi's Mansion, this might be the game to make me buy a 3DS.

  • Why would I say no to a sequel to one of the most well-received PC RTS games of the last decade? Also, this reminds me I should totally play more of the original game.

  • Having very fond memories of the original game, I'm very excited to see just how crazy and twisted the modern version will be.

  • An old-school post-apocalyptic RPG ala Fallout 1-2 with an isometric camera you say? Sign me up, good sir.

  • Having a soft spot for the Metroidvania formula, this looks like it could satisfy that itch.
