P.S. Chris talks fast cause he's smart as fuck btw. Dude goes way farther back in games than Spore - yall should look him up. Been speaking at GDC since before it was called GDC, wrote a series of programming articles that influenced the development of a ton of games going way back (including Quake), essentially co-invented the Game Jam concept and a bunch of other stuff. Very cool dude.
The replay system in this game is one of the coolest things i've seen in a game in a long time. One of the few times I've heard a dev talk about an esports angle for their game where it really feels like it's justified. I really hope this game catches on, because high level competitive play with good commentary would be fascinating in a way no competitive games out there are right now.
