I really do wish that the bugs wouldn't explode into a small cloud of green blood when you melee'ed (sp?) them and splattered instead. It was cool how they started chewing on dead bodies though.
"But that's completely different though. The ISA actually did forcefully remove the Helghast from that planet. The first Killzone is about the Helghast trying to get it back. "
Since I am like everyone else, I never played the first Killzone.
Multiplayer. Playing pirated games online is a huge pain in the ass and Sony has been doing well at stopping it. Reference the large amount of Black Ops players banned for cheating as well as the majority of custom firmware users getting warning e-mails from Sony telling them to stop circumventing PSN and to remove all custom firmware from their system or they would be banned. Games with multiplayer, especially with multiplayer as a large focus, get pirated much less. Also note that the method right now to access PSN from an earlier firmware is nowhere neat uncomplicated and comes with the risk of bricking your console if you mess up. The size. 41gb is nothing to sneeze at, and while it is true that you can get incredibly fast speeds from Usenet groups or private torrent trackers it is still a very large file. Small games get pirated much more than large ones, 3D Dot Game Heroes (2gb) is pirated more than Heavy Rain(25gb), even though Heavy Rain is the better known game, and is an ideal target for piracy because of being relatively short, exclusively single player, and having "interesting" gameplay. Comparable to Alan Wake which was pirated much more and is smaller (5gb, I think?). Also, download speed isn't the only issue, the game files and install being on the HDD takes up a fair bit of space. PS3 Exclusives do better than multiplats. Multiplayer, multiplayer, and multiplayer.
" I remember seeing the footage those stills were taken from on the BBC a while ago. Interesting stuff. My memory's a bit hazy, but I think the news story I read said that the Brazilian government (I think that's where this particular tribe was) had legal protections in place to prevent outsiders from contacting the tribe - there's some concern about their immunity to common diseases. It's nice to see people actually learning something from history, for once. "
And the people most likely to break those laws and contact them without regard to their safety?
So, since Home started, only 17 million unique users have logged unto it?
And among those people, they only average out 70 minutes? Since the thing started? No sir, I would not consider that a success.
@Entus said:
" Average of 70 minutes sounds pretty pathetic. Especially since a few months ago, WoW players totaled 6 million years in total which works to more than 4000+ hours/player. "
This though is poor math. The total amount of time is from anyone who has ever played WoW, and then they divide that number by current players.
4000 hours is 6 hours a day, every day, for two years. I doubt that is the average amount of time people spend on WoW.
Wait... 1 being busted and 10 being a ship that ended up sinking into the sea? Is this a trick question? There have been a few patches and some issues are still prevalent, but not game breaking. The chunking issue still exists on the PS3 and, if memory throws a fit, can still rarely cause your game to freeze. I'd say it's about a 6/10 overall, though. Definitely could have been better, but Bethesda doesn't have R* budget to get rid of the game breaking bugs and leave in just the ridiculously fun to watch bugs (a la RDR). "
It's ZeniMax. They most certainly do have enough money to get rid of game breaking bugs.
So, if I am following this correctly, it makes your lungs less efficient in the short term, more so than tobbacco. However, it does not lead to lung cancer or have the same severe long term effects that tobacco has. Does this sound right?
It the above is the case, I would see tobacco to be more dangerous.
edit: Of course, we could get into the debate about vaporizers, which make it so that you basically just get the THC mostly. I doubt that there would be any negative physical health effects (mental is a different issue, which in my opinion it doesn't cause anything, it can trigger underlying issues and can promote lazy behaviour, and attracts morons) as that removes all tar and basically all of the carcinogens.
