I don't normally pre order games either. This is only the second time I've ever done it. The first time was need for speed underground 2, about 10 years ago. I was happy with that but I just never do it, you never know what a game will be like.

This time I did it because I didn't know if the humble store would lock is Australians out of it at some point, so I went ahead and bought it early to be safe.

The one problem is that I did it the morning that I left to go interstate to Perth, and I still have a week and a half before I get back home to play it. :(

Just pre-ordered through the Humble Store, seems to have worked just fine. Also at least if Steam doesn't activate the key, I have a DRM free version too.

The GOG page just 404s for me. Looks like the humble store works though, as long as it doesn't bar me during the checkout process. Thanks guys.

It doesn't seem to be available on GOG. I live in Australia. I don't really want to pirate it, because I want to give the devs my money. Any other ways of buying it?

Still pissed that it was RC'd here. I've been waiting for a sequel for years now and they go and do that to me.

You know who were the real wet towels? The people complaining about Brad supposedly being a wet towel.

I greatly enjoyed the show and Brad's antics. Reading all the comments afterwards was what brought me down.

Edit: And now I'm just contributing more to the dumb shit and taking away from the great work provided here. Good stuff TC.

Yeah this year has been great so far, I hope they can keep it up.

I'm still a couple of weeks behind on UPFs. On top of that, I'm starting full time work this week so squeezing all this content in is going to get a bit tougher (though downloading the videos to my phone and watching them on the train might work).

I understand what you're saying about them dismissing the games a little too quickly. I think they could stand to give the games a chance just a little bit longer. But the games have been pretty bad and I love the quick looks.

@twisted: I get it. I mean if I got a chance to jam with Lou Reed, even in his totally over the hill, unable to sing era then I'd not say no to it. And if you then get to make some money from it then shit, why not?

Sure. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of these types who says Metallica 'sold out'. They can do whatever they like and if Lulu was something they were proud of, then great! I'm happy for them. I still thought the album sucked though. It simply wasn't for me I suppose.

@milkman: Almost agree with everything you've said here, except I disagree that the tag title match was a total disaster. There were a couple of botches, but otherwise it was a perfectly fine match. Also their previous match on NXT where Murphy and Blake won the titles was pretty good and botch free. Though I could be biased because I saw Buddy Murphy wrestle a few times here in Melbourne (where he was the top heel in a local promotion) and I think he has potential.

I also think that Balor/Neville was the match of the night. Not taking anything away from the women though, they had a great match.

I totally agree with you on the main event. It was a good match, but it didn't quite make it to the next level. However I can appreciate what they did because of the story it is setting up. This feud could last the rest of the year and I can't wait to see more. This first match was really just a taste of what's to come.

Metallica - I was majorly into Metallica for a few years, and having moved on from them I'd still rank their early albums as the pinnacle of thrash metal. They are all-round masterpieces. I also didn't think St. Anger was too bad, I liked a couple of songs on there. And Death Magnetic was pretty good. I actually never once listened to Load or Reload because of their reputations, which might be a mistake. However, an even bigger mistake was listening to all of Lulu. I don't know why I did, it was 90 minutes of torturous wank.

Megadeth - Liked them almost as much as Metallica. Especially, as a guitarist myself (though not so much anymore :( I should get back into that... ), I just adored the riffs and the solos. Absolutely amazing, though shit hard to play. I didn't listen to much of their work post Rust In Peace as I didn't like what I did. But I thought Endgame was a great album. Heard terrible things about Super Collider, I think I listened to it once but I don't even remember anything about it.

Slayer - I love everything about their dark, violent style. Some great riffs and awesome lyrics. I still can't believe Jeff Hanneman passed away, he was the better guitarist too IMO. I thought their last album, World Painted Blood, was good as well.

Anthrax - I just plain never listened to much of these guys at all. Probably a mistake, but I just never heard anything that grabbed me.

Testament and Exodus are totally cool too. And actually Exodus' recent album The Electric Age was awesome. My favourite album of whatever year it was released, 2012 I think.

Also, Black Sabbath is just plain one of the best metal bands ever. Still listen to their stuff (and I really don't listen to much music at all anymore) and I thought their last album was great, some really excellent tracks on there.
