Max Payne 4 - Loved all of these games, I thought Rockstar did a great job with MP3 and I can't wait to play another one. In the meantime, I'll probably finally get around to that second playthrough of MP3 that I've wanted to do for ages now.

Mafia 3 would be awesome. I thought Mafia 2 was great but would like to see one where the publisher keeps their grubby hands off it.

I'm also going to say that I really NEED to play GTA 5. I've loved every game in the series, I'm a lifelong GTA fan and I'm waiting for the PC version of 5. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Was just doing this today. Had Steam open with only my installed games listed and out of 36 games I couldn't decide on one to play. Ended up not playing anything all day. This happens quite often.

But... I was only just recently considering moving up to 8gb...

On the topic of price of RAM, for some reason prices in Australia have stalled over the last few years. I'm pretty damn sure I paid $50 for 4gb over 5 years ago and it's still the same price! 16gb goes for ~$200. It's expensive and hasn't been going down at all.

Anyway, I have no interest in this game at this point so whatever.

I can't think of any particular shows that are crazy or funny. PPVs will often have moments or matches like that but not a whole one.

However, I'm thinking that perhaps Wrestlemania 17 might be a decent choice. For some reason it's probably one of the most accessible WWE shows and actually probably comes pretty close to what you described.

There's the totally ridiculous triple threat Hardcore match between Kane, Raven and the Big Show. There's that gimmick battle royal that might be a good bit of nostalgia for your friends. The TLC match is a spectacular spot-fest. There's Shane vs. Vince in a fun street fight. Triple H and The Undertaker had a good match and the main event between Stone Cold and The Rock is excellent. Plus a bunch of other solid wrestling matches on the show. It's one of the best all-round shows the WWE has ever put on.

Have a good night either way.

Well I'm still waiting on the PC version and if Target aren't going to stock it, then that's their problem. I mean, I probably wasn't going to purchase it from Target or any other Australian retail stores for that matter, as buying online is cheaper. But if they want no more part in selling one of the biggest game franchises in the world, then good luck to them.

Anyone else feel this is a dry run to see if 5 days of GOTY podcasts is feasible with 8 duders?

I mean I still kinda hope it is a semi hot mess, but not super hot.

You're probably right but at the same time, who cares?!

8 man podcast man! I don't know why the guys have been hesitant about it, who gives a shit if it breaks the podcast dynamic?! It happens once a year!

Just fucking put it in me already!

I also finished Sphere last week and am looking forward to the podcast.

It's the first Crichton book I've read and I really enjoyed it. It's a hell of a page turner. The discussion of scientific and psychological theories and topics was all really interesting too.

I was ready to get The Andromeda Strain from the library yesterday but they didn't have it, so I picked up Timeline instead. I'm about 200 pages in and while it's not quite as good as Sphere, it's still pretty solid so far. There's plenty of talk about quantum mechanics in here. I knew nothing about it before, it's fascinating.

Pretty sure it's "peace", not "disease".

Not one particular line but I think it's that Anaconda song that has annoyed me recently. Society has come so far when promoting a woman's image in the media and it is turned right around in this song. Like it's great that women no longer feel ashamed if they have a bit of extra meat on them, it's widely considered beautiful nowadays. But the way Minaj rags on "skinny bitches" is sad. Implying that thinner women can't help the way they are. It's just completely reversing all the progress made in the last however many years. Maybe one day women will finally learn that they are all different and will stop being bitches towards each other.

Paying attention to mainstream music is probably just bad for your health.

Despite not really wanting to see Sting wrestle again (saw some of his TNA work and yeah...) and also never having a connection to him (didn't start watching wrestling until about 8 years ago), I always knew that his inevitable WWE debut would be a great moment, and it totally was.

Don't care what anybody says, that main event was fan-fuckin-tastic.
