@penguindust: KOTOR is more or less that, though DAO is definitely superior. I know it's blasphemous to some to suggest such a thing, but seriously, KOTOR isn't as great as everyone pretends (we get it, the "twist" was "AMAZING OMG!!!"; spoilers: it's not that great).

@burningstickman: @mewarmo990: All my dudes are on The Harbinger and I haven't played in quite some time. I got a Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent to 50 and stopped once I finished their class stories and Corellia. Highest on Republic side is my Jedi Knight, which I want to say is level 33 or so.

Obviously it would become more slower going the higher up we got, but for the Imperial side classes, I could "run" you guys through your class story quests so that you could see their stories without actually having to play them for real. It'd certainly be quicker than doing it for real. Unless they changed it, there are no level requirements for any of the class quests.

Where the hell were all of you before he announced his move? Only now do you guys accept that he was more or less the reason we even got Quick Looks while the guys were "busy" during times with "no releases".

Not that the worst company of the year award actually means anything anyway, but the only thing "sticking it" to EA over things like SimCity DRM does is show just how meaningless the award is and cheapen it, now two years in a row. Let's go for three!

I think most of the praise is really stemming from how well animated she is, particularly her facial animations, and her voice acting is good, which helps sell her dialogue and people are ignoring the things you pointed out. It makes sense that they totally ignored the fact she would have to "adapt" to anything because then there would be no game.

He (and Gearbox) continued to show that demo even at the Gearbox Community Day in September 2012, just a few months from launch, and continued to pretend that it was actual gameplay representative of the final product, when that is objectively not the case. If doing that over and over again isn't lying, then I don't know what is.

I think they'll survive, and we might get some interesting things out of a desperate Nintendo. If anything, I think (or at least hope) that this generation will be a reality check for them, and they will realize they really do need to invest in hardware specs. It doesn't matter what innovation, real or perceived, they want to try to do. Developers want power and more of it, and if Nintendo isn't going to give it to them, they'll go to the people who will.
