Sometimes I get the impression that anytime the staff talks about "barriers to entry" for games (other than for people attempting to really get into competitive multiplayer settings with little prior exposure to such a setting or a particular genre, like maybe RTS and Starcraft II multiplayer for example), they're talking about people like the "Never" girl. They seem to over-exaggerate most things.

Try clearing your cache each time before you play it? That's what I had to do with the digital version of Sonic Generations on 360.

I know it goes without saying, but yeah, rumors/"rumors" really should be taken with a grain of salt, especially if it's this easy to find them published in the so-called video game media. Maybe someone here should try doing something like this and see what happens.

I am in no way suggesting people buy and play this game, but if people were curious to check it out (as I somewhat am) after some reviewers claimed the story "had its moments", now probably wouldn't be a bad time to pick it up. Or maybe anytime would be a bad time to pick it up if it's as bad as some made it out to be.

@Rebel_Scum: Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. That was the most recent one I could think of where people got worked up over Ryan and Patrick's Quick Look of it. It was the one that came to my mind based on what you had posted, heh.
