The real question is what do people consider Midnight? Because I can't stand when people say Wednesday @ Midnight, but they really meant Thursday because if you showed up early, you showed up on Tuesday.
FFXIV is pretty damn good now. May feel like a little bit of a grind at first, but you can really plow through the levels a 2nd time around. Also the story is pretty good -- especially considering it is mandatory to unlock content and the expansion.
@snakelinksonic: Thanks. I actually need to get that FC transferred to my alt first before I can join another. That's what I was referring to when I inquired about getting in without someone else online. I don't want to just lose in case original folks/real friends every hop back in. It's Rank 8, but no housing so I need someone to quickly help me in transferring with an alt. I invite them and give invite permissions. They invite my alt. Then my primary leaves the FC to join another. What a pain!
Decided to hop back in last night and found everyone in the FC no longer plays.I automatically got made Master of it upon logging in. (Anyone know how to invite your own character to a FC without needing someone else online?)
Not sure if the GB FC is still active or not. But, I am just looking for a casual group to shoot the shit with as I grind my WHM's sub actions I previously ignored and grind 50-60. If anyone would also like to make 10,000 gil, hit me up so I can attempt to move my newly acquired FC to a mule in case my real-world friends ever hop back on and want control. I'm of course "Ty Cobb" on Ultros ;)

@fnrslvr: New/cheap pedals. Not much resistance even with the conical mod. I may turn it off. It's the only thing left, but still getting used to this game and wheel. Figured the brakes need more attention than what I can give right now.
I actually wish I could hook up my G27 pedals since it has all of the Nixim springs installed.
They're completely different games. Do you want Arcade or Simcade?
I love both, but they fill different needs. Forza 6 I will only use a wheel with only ABS on. Horizon 2 is all controller with damage ignored.
Lots to do in Horizon and the open-world is a blast, but one is an apple and the other is an orange. Just watch some videos and decide which one you want to play more.
Working through career and finally got past Mount Panorama (not my best track in any game... absolutely my worst in iRacing) and arrived at Long Beach. Turn 1 and 2 must be the biggest cluster fuck I have ever seen for racing AI and that's with it being "Highly Skilled". Bad enough these cars hit the brakes for no reason coming up on a turn I could easily make 20MPH more, but come on -- these cars are all dead stopped and the leader isn't even pulling away from the pack.
Anyone else come across turns that cause major traffic jams in what should be just slow smooth turns?
Voted for "Pop". I'll call him that or Dad. Just whichever flies out. Possibly an age thing, but I just recently started to call him that in the last 5 years or so out of nowhere without thinking about it.
