'believing' is where humanity goes wrong. it implies the potential for the removal of fact from an argument.

I believe it was NeverDead. It is pretty terrible game, but it was far less frustrating than many of the other games that I have played this month (which I am sure I will elucidate on in January of 2015, like i did in January of 2014 with my blog of 2013 games played).

i completed a shitload of games in 2013 (115 if my quick count is accurate) that if one is so inclined one can read about in some detail along with other nonsense in my unreasonably lengthy sole blog entry that no one else has read or had any interest in reading (and rightly so):

my 2013 completed games and stuff

Thief, Titanfall, South Park and Infamous are definites. Undecided on Metal Gear and Tomb Raider. I played Tomb Raider on 360 and enjoyed it, so I am going to wait to see if this version makes it worth going through again. I have a bit of "Vinny Syndrome" when it comes to games (i.e. I want to play a game's predecessors in a series before playing a fifth installment), and I haven't played 4 yet, so I would want to play that first, making it unlikely that I will get 5 right around release.

I haven't played an RE game since the first one (which I did not like at all). since my drug-addled brain remembers very little from those days, I would say just drop the horror bullshit because it is bullshit. maybe the last several games did that. i don't know. if not, the inevitable next one should.

i voted "no". i have one of them things that has the deal on it that allows you to clip it to your pocket/belt (i always go with pocket). i assume that doesn't count as it doesn't cover the screen or anything.

I would have to say it depends on your goal. If you want to learn other peoples' music, then just take some lessons or follow some of the other advice given above, and follow that up with working with tablature and such. If your goal is to write your own music and be creative, then just start fooling around with the guitar and where you place your fingers and how you strum, and the sound that emanates from the instrument in different situations, until you figure things out on your own. the world needs more creative people, and nothing promotes creativity more than the combination of sound and experimentation.

if i can't come up with a cool-sounding name that fits the particular theme of the game, i will go with one of my standbys, which i tend to also use for screen names and such: Uit de Toekomst, Rooi Reus or de Grijs.

oh boy... the first one I have a concrete memory of is that Star Wars game from the early 80s. We had both a 2600 and a ColecoVision, so i am not sure which version I played. Something makes me want to say the 2600 version. I would have been about 4 or 5 years old I guess. I have to imagine that I had played a few prior to that, though, that I don't remember.
