The best, Jerry; the best!
Some of my more memorably positive gaming experiences, surely omitting a huge number of other things I loved to bits for a month or fifty.

TUUUUUUURN UP THE RAAAAAADIO
Darn near perfect.
Vampires! Great writing! SOLD

*forever*
*is so happy*
Still my favorite open-world murder simulator to this day. The story was basic but shockingly well-written, there was CUSTOMIZATION!, and your gang buddies were super endearing; Eliza Dushku's Shaundi was so great.
The possibilities of such a huge open world were utterly captivating at the time and still impress me looking back. The story was really dumb, but it overcame that with heart and spunk and good set pieces and likeable characters and whatnot.
As much as I want Skate 4 or new DLC to magically appear from the aether, I could still play this for years if I have to.
THIS IS MY GAME. IT WAS MADE FOR ME.
Obsidian is just. so. good.
Maybe my favorite local multiplayer gaming experience ever?
I think I like this whole series more for what it could be than what it actually is, but oh well. At least you can kind of delve into its universe a tiny bit.
The most tragic victim of all in the console sports wars and/or the downfall of 2K Sports. Best sports game ever made. *addendum: NBA2k is REALLY GOOD TOO I guess
hello I am 12 again, I WONDER WHAT WONDERS THE NEW WILLENNIUM HOLDS
I love yelling Talking Heads songs at my TV.
This survived for nearly half a decade before an acceptable next-gen version replaced it as my preferred soccer title.
Such a perfect blend of cars, tracks, and sim qualities without being inaccessible in the least. What a criminally underappreciated game.
[what I said about Mass Effect 2 plus something about horribly underwhelming sidequests]
I played this on an emulator in 2000 and I was all, "Whoa."
Woohoo! [N64 version only, no PSX allowed]
This, SSX, and GTA will always remind me of an old friend I don't ever talk to anymore.
It's... like. Really fun, you guys.
*nods*
Wheeeeeee!

I had no idea WTF as a kid. And there wasn't even a hug button! COME ON!
CURSE YOU WAVES I HATE YOU SO MUCH
