I have no idea what we would do yet, but drinks will definitely be in order later in the evening. Doesn't mean you can't come sit with us :)

@the_OFFICIAL_jAPanese_teaBAG: Seems like there are about 8 - 10 people so far.

@jSlack: I wouldn't mind, but I think it would have to be planned a little more to get more people out.

I live a few blocks from there!
I lived in Tokyo for 2 years and the rent there is similar to anywhere in the world. You have cheap, average, and expensive housing everywhere.

" DUDERS! Never thought there's a shoutout to Vancouver Giantbombers. Though I am a little surprised there aren't many people keeping a close eye on the arcades' history around here. Especially of the interesting tale of CHQ.  EDIT: I also find a meetup to be interesting of sorts. "
I remember the good old days of CHQ, Playdium, Station Square, Lesters, and RUSH.

Maybe if we all meet at Metrotown and head to CHQ and then come downtown for some eats and a lot of drinks.

I remember hearing on some podcast that it was scheduled for a spring release.

@keyhunter: No he meant at Playland, that's why it's only open in the summer.

Vancouver isn't that bad man. I've lived in a few places and this is by far the easiest city to live in. The only way to live anywhere on Tim Horton's wages is to live in poverty. And I wouldn't call anything outside of the downtown core (places with affordable rent) even close to poverty.

A little less agro would be nice eh?

Well I'm guessing there aren't many people interested, maybe we should just save it for PAX.
