This shocks me on so many levels. It's too astounding of a loss to begin the day with. ._. Ryan Davis was one of the funniest, wittiest and most kind hearted video game journalists I have ever followed in my entire life. His career spanning as a journalist writing for Gamespot and Giant Bomb in many ways contributed to inspiring my aims to become a videogame journalist to begin with. My heart goes out to his family and friends and everyone who has ever been touched by his work. Truly, there won’t go a day where I won't miss reading his reviews and hearing his voice during a quick look or a giant bombcast. I’m sad that I was never able to meet him or shake his hand or share in the moments of happiness that others have been posting about from just being around him. However, I know that through my thoughts and prayers that he is in a better place now. Rest in Peace Ryan, reading your reviews on Gamespot as a kid were some of the fondest memories that I'll ever have. Your work always kept a chubby little nerd way too obsessed with videogames informed and not to mention, thoroughly entertained. Thank you for everything man.
