Why doesn't Giantbomb.com just go to the Youtube page?

What's the point in coming to Giant Bomb? It's just a link to Youtube videos. So no need to come here.

When I first joined Giant Bomb, they made fun of youtubers and people who tried to make a living doing what they did. Now they've made a site that points at Youtube and they are doing what they made fun of.

Way to go Giant Bomb. You've become youtubers. You have become what you made fun of. Good work.

Just wanted to post an update on Sparky(Cameron). After four days in the Cardio Unit at the hospital, multiple testing, and and Angiogram (spelling?), the medical staff and doctors have found what they think to be the problem.

After the Cardiologist went in and did the Angiogram test, they found lots of fluid build up in the heart. From what I could understand from all the big words being thrown around, it sounds like it is not a blood clot or heart attack. My understanding is it's a build up of fluids in the heart that can cause heart attack like symptons. This is great news, but we aren't out of the woods yet. My brother is under some pretty heavy meds and he has to have regular check ups, but he was cleared to leave the Cardio section of the hospital.

My family and I would like to send a huge thank you to this community for standing behind not only Sparky, but us. Your thoughts, prayers, good vibes, and everything everybody else sent was heard and we are very very thankful. I cannot thank this community enough for the kind words and what a wonderful great group of people. Thank you again.

Hello everybody.

Just wanted to post an update on my brother. We are waiting on the Cardiologist to get here so they can do an angiogram so they can prove up his arm to see his heart to determine what's causing the heart failure.

While waiting I cried reading him some of your kind words. I didn't read him all of them as he is resting before the surgery.

This community is amazing and thank you for the thoughts and prayers for my brother.

Hello Bombers,

This is the hardest post I've ever had to make. A lot of you know my brother, Sparky_Buzzsaw. He was a former moderator, and one of the great contributors to this site as a moderator and forum content.

Well, yesterday I got a call from my parents that my best friend and brother was on his way to the town I live in on a ambulance (He lives in a very small town). Well they brought him in for possible heart problems.

At this point, we don't know what happened. The doctors have told us there is a problem with his heart, but it may have been a heart attack or possibly a blood clot. They have told us that one side of his heart is not acting right and I need your thoughts and I need your prayers please. A Cardiologist is coming in sometime soon to do a scan on his body to see what is going on.

Sparky (Cameron) is conscious and responsive which is a great sign, but he needs a pump me up. So I am heading back to the hospital and thought a great thing would be to read some positive responses to him from the Giant Bomb Squad!

If this offends the moderators or the site, I am very sorry. But he needs to hear people support him.

Please, give me some stuff to read to my brother to cheer him up!

I'm a car guy, I love the cars that came out in the 50's and 60's. I'd LOVE to go to a Cadillac dealership in 1959 and see a 59 caddy on the lot, brand new. I'd love to see a General Lee Dodge Charger brand new on the lot. I'd love to see so many cars brand new, and not restored, etc.

I'm very excited for the future as well, but I'd love to just look back in time and be able to see a brand spankin new 57 Chevy on the lot.
