errr yeah, probably some big reason that i dont realise, but was just wondering why no more iterations of my favourite sporting game are made. SSX on tour was my personal favourite.  Anywho please enlighten me

What happened to EA Sports BIG?

I just read that title as "What ever happened to sex?"

Once they started going open world I lost interest. Nothing can beat SSX Tricky and it's crazy levels.

SSX tricky was great, i played that game forever

They annualized it.  People got tired of it and sales eventually dropped with the newer iterations so it was cancelled.  My guess is that we are closing in on the right time for them to resurrect it. This is pure speculation, but look for it at E3 using NATAL to pull off tricks.

a new one was supposed to be being made. I loved the first few but then kinda fell off from the series

Last SSX game I played was SSX Tricky. 
I remember liking that game a lot because of the crazyness
