Dude, can you stop making a bazillion threads?, like 80% of the threads that show up at the front page are yours and they are all pretty bad, you ask a question a don't make a point yourself about it, come on
Uematsu, seriously guys, being a great composer is not about a single soundtrack/song of a game, you have to look at the long track record, he's like the Federer of video game music, you can be good and beat him from time to time, but his sheer quantity of quality music will always destroy you
The worst thing about 3D is how it will create stupid constraints when you think about developing a new game engine and the end result in 2D won't be as good as if this 3D nonsense had never happened, so yeah, I wish it would go away or that they just use it during pre-rendered cutscenes (now every clever PS3 developer use them to hide loading times)
The British, the Spaniards, the French and the Portuguese? I think it's time you stop referring to USA as 'America', it's like if the British used 'Europe', that would piss off the rest of the continent.
I'm ok with online pass if it helps the developer/publisher but also if it encourages them to keep releasing content for example DICE with the BC2 VIP codes.I recommend you to bypass retailers, you should look for friends or someone other way, that want to trade the game you want to buy, they get more money than trading in to Gamestop and you also pay less, win win situation.
@nintendoeats: You can be pretty sure that they invested a lot money to reduce the chance of this happening, it happened, the risk is always there and you work as long as your system lives to make it reach zero as much as you can, paying third party security auditors and ethical hacking companies, it's not that Sony lacked security, someone outsmarted them or was lucky to find some temporary hole to leak in.
I'm optimistic, the PS3 was the last console to be jailbroken and PSN was hacked after almost 5 years, big deal, how can anyone think that getting 90%+ failure rate of the launch 360 is better than this? (and other less but still fucked up failure rates of the later models), it's very unlikely that someone's money will be stolen but a LOT of people had to buy new 360s because their warranty expired.
This is indeed the best for Sony to say 'hey we need a shitload of money to run and upgrade this service, we won't charge for it but reconsider subscribing to PS+ so we can hire a horde of programmers and security experts to make it better', it's really easy to claim that you have a secure service when you are charging for something that you get for free on the PS3 or PC. I may sound like a fanboy, but I own both consoles and from day one I said screw you MS I'll not give you any money for a service that should or at least could be free.
