The consequences of having a faked event discovered is much greater than any actual benefit of Osama's death. So if it was faked, I doubt it was the White House (especially this far from the election with an increased risk of discovery).
The only person that would benefit from having the death of Osama faked is Osama bin Laden himself. So unless he got the CIA to pay him a favor, I doubt anyone else would be willing to do it.
" Because this is there job and i don't see the point in paying them to do it "
Do you not get paid to do your job? "
I think he meant that demand should create products, not the other way around. People who have jobs don't have to ask for money, they have jobs because of a necessity to create a product, and their role in creating that product. I might be mistaken, of course. EDIT: To further clarify: What they did with this site was "create demand" which is a means to sell people shit they don't need (and in this case, definitely shouldn't need to pay for). They were never very vocal about their business plan, because they didn't want to be considered a business, because being a business isn't very endearing or charming. And charm is all they had going on for them. And now, after the marketing phase, they expect you to consider them as a business and want you to buy their product, when they are really just guilt tripping gullible people into buing something they don't need. It's a corporation, financed by a very wealthy man who wants to make a profit, when all it should be is an independent, voluntary community; a hobby. I hate this kind of shit, and I hate the way the marketing industry operates. "
... Most of the biggest innovations are from creation of demand. This is what entrepreneurs set out to accomplish. In business, you either meet a demand, or you create a demand in hopes that you guess correctly. Whiskey Media set out to go try to go after a new market in the online content arena.
If it was so easy and cheap to make a site such as Giant Bomb where everyone has your supposed "real jobs" and only did this as a "hobby," where are all these other sites similar to Giant Bomb that is entirely run by charity? If they exist, why isn't everyone there.
You may not find it reasonable; that's no excuse to go running around accusing people of being thieves, deserving of prison sentences, or generally bad people.
The fact that it is, by definition, theft and illegal, however...
As I've said, not buying the game is the acceptable method of protest. "
To be pedantic, by definition it is actually copyright infringement. And pirating is handled by copyright infringement laws.
